    Looking For 3,000 betpoints loan

    I'm seeking a betpoints loan of 3,000 to be used solely to become PRO again. My PRO status expired some time ago and I'd like to get it back. I know the only other way is donate to charity, but things are tight right now with the holidays and all. I'd pay back 12/day plus winnings from contests, trivia freeplays and poker winnings.     I don't have the funds right now so I won't be loaning you.

    However, I'm curious as to what you think reasonable terms are for a loan like this.

    At 12 points a day (I know points can be gained with trivia/contests/poker etc.) it will take 250 days to payback the original 3k. Let's say under the terms that are given you will be able to fully pay off the loan in 250 days with trivia etc. That means you will be paying until September 2013.

    As I mentioned, I am just curious what you think reasonable terms should be assuming the loan will not be paid off before September.

    It's been a while since I've been in the points game, but if my memory serves me right, I think a 3,000 betpoints loan was repaid with 3,500? That's about 18%, which I think was a standard.

    September would be the absolute latest, you're right. Somewhere along that time, if you're entering contests/trivia/poker then a half-way decent score comes along.

    Now that I think of it...I believe a lot of the lenders use a staggered repayment amount based on time.

    The faster you pay back, the less interest that is occurred.

    They usually offer payback rates for 48 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month and then after that a certain percentage is added.

    This is a tough one...and since you've let pro status expire are you 100% sure you can renew with points because it we send and you cant then 2 back a day would never work

    Yes, I am. Since they've done away with sportsbook balances as an option...then added points which can be purchased by non-USA members or you can donate $200 to charity. I'd prefer to do that, but money is tight right now.

    I definitely understand it would be better to get a loan and and pay for pro with points.

    You are right that payback on a loan is done based on timing so if you COULD payback within 48 hours then a regular loan would probably be about 3100. However, unless you hit it big in the EOW tourney or something that is very unlikely.

    I'm not sure if these types of loans have been given in the past but I wish you the best of luck and hope you get it!!

    Thank you. You are right, it's extremely unlikely that I'd be paying back in days, or even weeks for that matter. It's a long term thing since I'm not asking for anything extra for the sportsbook (I'd be willing to accept extra though, if someone wants to lend and potentially speed up the payback with a couple of wins).

    I've seen loans of this size many of times. It's usually some of the larger lenders that handle them. I've also seen multiple lenders take on the loan.

    Think most people prefer shorter term loans which also generate better interest.

    How is posters loan history? I'm obviously too new to know .....

    DS...I have my own loan to payback. When that is over and done with and if Matt still owes you, I'd be willing to do that. Matt lent me points with the understanding that they'd be paid back with no timetable. You have 13K points and all I'm trying to do is get my pro status back and pay this thing off.
