    **milwaukee mike's donation/stop drinking thread

    well, i've decided to stop drinking. it was getting way out of hand, and between the coffee and the booze i have been having serious health problems due to dehydration.

    so to motivate myself i've decided to start a make-a-wish foundation/st judes/salvation army charity thread (whatever is available in the store). i will try to put in points every day that i don't drink (maybe 5, maybe 10, depends on if when we have daily poker tournaments).

    if there's anyone that wants to join me, or even throw some points in for charity, feel free.

    i'm also going to throw cash in a jar with a note on the liquor cabinet, $2 for every day that i don't have a drink.
    hopefully this is a little motivation to get in the habit of being nice and generous instead of drunk and selfish.

    if lou or one of the other mods could come in here to hold the points until we get to 325 point chunks, that would be great!

    i imagine this will get moved to the points forum, and i won't be bumping it, just shipping points if someone wants to hold them, or holding them myself.

    once i get to 325 point chunks, whoever has given the most (other than me) can choose the charity, i'll send a pm.

    and if anyone wants to join me in my quest, i would be overjoyed. no way am i going to meetings or any of that touchy-feely stuff...
