I want to be staked for the The Hawk's NCAA Bowl contest. It is a 2,500 point contest and is likely to have overlay - plus there is $5,000 up top for first. The format will be reasonably high variance (only 15 picks), however I was in the top 200 in BTP last year and I am currently on the verge of the top 50 in BTP this year.

I have also been a profitable sports bettor for three years. (for vastly smaller stakes up until this year)

I feel at face value with a potential overlay that I am a +ev investment in this competition - I am selling stakes because the 2,500 is a little bit too rich for my liking (given i've only got around 6,000 points total). To be clear i'm not interested in taking a loan to compete in this contest.

Prizes are:
SBR will award the winner $5,000 cash
2nd place 50,000 betpoints
3rd place 25,000 betpoints
4th place a signed photo of Natalie hugging Jonelyn at the SBR Christmas party

If we get 4th biggest single investor other than myself will win the photo (if they want it - otherwise it passes to the next biggest investor etc).

Shares will sell for 125 points which will get you 5% of any prize money or points that I win in the competition. I want at least 4 shares of myself and will play if I can sell 12 shares. (ie I will take up the remaining 8 shares)

Investors are free to buy as many shares as they wish. A maximum of 16 shares will be available to buy. Please note that you are buying shares in my selections - you will have no input on the selections that are made, however I will post our selections after the games start in a thread.

Although I have never taken a loan here, I have been reasonably active in the points forum and have paid everyone in points bets that I have made. I am also happy to check with SBR John or Shari to see if payment can be made directly to my backers - cutting me out of the middle.

thats true.. but people had mentioned in other threads before they got infractions or bans for giving out their email address. ..but then yes i see shari staking people and jj used to give out his phone number in vids. lol

The not exchanging info thing arose because of guys trying to get someone's private info to hack their sportsbook account or suck them out of cash for super duper special bets. And then ppl expected SBR to rescue their cash somehow which obviously we can't.

Give me until tomorrow and I'll come back in here and let you know either way unless John clarifies elsewhere first

Unfortunately you will need to be a PRO to do anything with your points. Right now you can only send 2/day.

At the moment the fact that you can only send two points a day would over-complicate things. I am happy to sell a share to you if become an SBR Pro.

Had a chat with SBR John today at the Poker Table and he said that SBR would split the prize money and pay each stakeholder directly if someone was in a team or had backers.

John has now confirmed that SBR will split the prize money directly to each stake holder in the other thread as well. 125 points gets you 5% of any prize money or points that I win.
