for some reason clicking 'to win' 500 wouldn't let me bet it. I already have 175 on so maybe that's why
Either way, that was the most I could put on it. It wouldn't take 600.

maybe you risked 175 when you bet it for yourself instead of to win 100?
If you risk 175, it counts 175 towards the 500 limit rather than 100.
I always do to win on - in case I want to bet more on it later.
