What has changed?
As of April 20th 2012, Sportsbook Cash redemptions from the SBR Store will require that the player had originally joined that sportsbook through a link on the SBR Network or successfully listed SBR as the referring source.

What does that mean?
It means that when you originally signed up for your sportsbook account, you clicked through an SBR link or banner such as the ones at the top of this page or a link somewhere else within the SBR network.

How do I know if I signed up through SBR?
All accounts provided with orders after April 20th will be verified. If you would like to find out before April 20th and have your account verified for future orders, you can write to cashier@sbrforum.com. Players who are using the extra sportsbook sign-up bonus category do not need to take any additional action. If you joined your sportsbook through an SBR Contest, you are likely verified. Players who became PRO after April 2011 are verified.

You might want to sticky this. This would seem terrible news. There are only a few books offering cash and one is unavailable to Panama. For those of us who have been here some time, we already had accounts with Bodog and Dimes, thus unlikely we are "verified" that way. So old timers just can't get cash anymore? Terrible new policy.

That would be pretty tough to do. If someone went pro with say, Doctors without Borders and all their sportsbook accounts were all pre-existing, then we'd definitely make it work for you.

There will be more offering cash. If someone had isolated case where they could show they could not get sportsbook cash, they will be accommodated. Same email.

Moneybookers will always be an option for the SBR player. This change will make it easier to add more books. Some guys signed up at WilliamHill at Oddschecker which Willhill pays for and then WillHill pays $100s to the same player at SBRs request. This will make it better in the long haul and easier to work with books in the store. Maybe we can get Pinnacle in the future.

Maybe not directly beneficial but if everyone uses a book they joined with, the books will be able to do better points deals. Otherwise WillHill sees everyone they already advertised to in the last 10 years getting betpoints cash. Ideally it would all balance out but it's not the case.

Anybody who could have gotten Pinnacle account - had it long before SBR added them as an option to sign up for pro accounts. Thus even if you add it as a cash option - which would have been absolutely awesome news - the new policy will make it useless basically, since as I said - most of us had an account with pinny probably before we even heard of sbr.

As discussed over PM, this is actually listed in the selling points page as well. SBR targets different offers based on region. I.e. An American can use the pizza gift cards, an Eastern Euro guy can use SB cash, so on and so forth. For logistical reasons, all offers cannot be global.

Ok ... thank you for the explanation, it makes sense with all the changes happening these days so no problem ... still, I would have prefered to find out from an SBR thread (like the one Bill Dozer started regarding the SB cash) and not when trying to buy points

Several people I know never played at Pinny until I told them about it because they don't offer bonuses, don't advertise here in Australia or have a flashy website. It's only when they actually started comparing lines and saw how easily they handle deposits and withdrawals with Australian bank accounts that they realised why it's a must have out. Makes sense that many people have gone Pro with them.
