So now we got guys buried in debt themselves offering to stake the King of Scamming/Stealing Point Degeneracy Kingdom?

    UNREAL

Who in good conscience can give this deadbeat points after his outright THEFT of points? (his lender yis called it that, appropriately). THINK ABOUT THAT?

What does that make YOU, staker?

If this is at me I was just telling him I had offered before and would consider it. I know I'm in debt but don't get to play poker so I take the risk on stakes. I've had a solid and reliable player for awhile and Mex has paid me more than what I've staked which helps with me paying off debt.

CS didn't agree originally and I doubt I could even make a reasonable offer with the risk involved.

My lenders know that I do the staking. Was discussed before loan was given.

Nobody's asking you to forego a potential profit with staking...we're simply warning you that the potential for profit is about 0%. As someone who bets on people with loans, I wouldn't recommend betting on a guy who has screwed over every staker he's had so far (stealing form yisman, violating deals with stash and hardly ever returning the investment). The guy's a lying cheating scumbag, and he's terrible at poker...doesn't make for a good stakee!

Yep it was most definitely directed at you; setting aside Triple D's fine post (illuminating truths) for a moment, what about the MORAL question of aiding and abetting a THIEF?
The fact that he is a thief isn't even in question (described so by many but even by his lender). You gonna fall for his perpetual lame excuse of "yeah I stole the points but I always make up for it." REALLY? You're ok with that sad sack thieving explanation? If so... please consider it a civic duty to your community to never serve on a jury.

So why would you aid and abet a thief?... ah, gee... for a potential points profit? REALLY? Do you ever question the morality of things? Like... EVER? I know this is only SBR and everything's relative o'course but to quote Chris Berman & the gang: C'mon man!

Please... think this thru and come to the right decision; there are plenty of other peeps round here you can stake in poker. Added bonus is, just as TripleD implies, you might actually gain a profit from someone that doesn't suck at poker AND you won't be helping a THIEF.

No disclaimers needed sweetpea... I get where you're coming from. But don't worry - that's still going. However I also said to stash in that thread that if he or someone else is silly enough to stake him for a tourney then so be it. A stake... not a gift. When he flukes out a cash and still doesn't give points to yiser that should be enough of a warning sign to anyone with a brain cell not to give the guy a point but as you see he keeps on trying and people keep on considering it. Loans or "spots" will be cancelled until he's debt free. I'll check every few days. He might end up in the hole if I have to cancel transactions but it's not our problem.

Can you imagine the kid in a hole of like -200 points?? He would log on everyday and see nothing! It would take him over 15 day to get out of the hole. That might actually be a great learning experience for him. It would serve as a punishment and he wont be able to play anything for 2 weeks

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer, Shari... you're THE BEST.

So, if I'm interpreting you correctly, blowseq's 1000pt gift on Saturday needs to be adjusted on CS's ledger... which would put him -1000 balance currently.... correct?

And you couldn't be more spot on... any problems are of CS's own doing... not SBR's

Well yeah, and that's where the problem lies and why SBR doesn't normally get involved in this crap. I went to his points log and saw he received 2 lots of 500 from that nutter throwing his 40k away. So when I cancel it he's in the hole 1k. But he also paid yiser 1k - albeit he took the first 500 points to the casino first. If he'd lost that initial 500 gift yiser wouldn't have seen a thing. So either I put him in the hole for 1k which will be horrific for a dego like him but that means yiser won't see any more points for awhile or I subtly support his casino degeneracy by considering it a once off, in the hope it helps yiser to get paid off quicker. Will need to talk to admin about that.

Got 1000 and paid over 1200 to debt from it.

I'm almost positive that certain other stiffs/slowpays are observing this CS situation to see what SBR does regarding him.

While some stiffs are beyond moral repair, there will also be a % that _if_ SBR deals w/CS effectively and appropriately, it will put a lil "fear of Jesus" in them and spur them to do the proper thing and start paying off their lenders more efficiently.

Even if it helps just a few lenders get better payment from their stiffs/slowpays... it'd still be the most positive contribution CS ever made to this site (albeit inadvertently).

Let's face it.... guy's basically been a low-contributing leech from jumpstreet.

Why start with the guy who is actually NOT stiffing.

They have many stiffs out there still collecting their daily points and going about their business with no gruff whatsoever.

Ask yisman, secretstash, dngf, downsouth about stiffs....Sure they wouldn't mind the strong arm of SBR dealing with them in an appropriate manner.

5325 points paid to debt in the last 5 months

    Do the f'n math...

I'll do it for you.....that is an average of 35 points a day.

    Hardly stiffing.

I agree that carseller up until this point is not a pts stiff.. I have had far worse borrowers who turned rouge in the past..

With that being said.. carseller you have to quit the addons.. even if its a stake on the weekend and then you casino them instead of using for poker.. that is where it rubs people the wrong way.. the taking 1000 from the guy instead of 500 like everyone else.. well that was never announced by him as a rule.. BUT you probably shouldnt have done it to say the least. Should you have paid the pts to yisman before gamble - yes.. but it isnt in your blood to do so.. just realize why people are upset about your last few weeks transgressions.. I highly doubt it is because they believe you didnt pay any debt off.. its more because you are deceiving quite a bit sometimes and you also don't choose to do the right thing on your own practically ever.

I hope you come around on those aspects and start to pay yisman again especially.. will he add on to the debt, doubtful and he shouldnt.. but dont you ever forget how he has already helped you tremendously and took a huge risk as it is already...

By the way.. you slapped me in the face quite a bit in the past.. but I always stick my neck out and try to help.. not really sure how anyone could ever give a better deal than I have by negotiating on your behalf with yisman to lower interest to give you 11 pts towards payoff each week AND I was staking you to get your daily poker/gamble fix... but to each his own

One teeny tiny problem with that...you've gone from 7200 in debt to 11,500 in debt (after your payback is factored in) in the past 5 months. That means in the past 5 months, getting 13 points per day and the bumps, you've haven't even managed to pay back the additional amount you've borrowed. If we "do the f'n math", we find you're average daily progress is about -29 points a day. Considering over that period you received 2000 points from logging in and forum posts (not to mention several weeks of BTP points), you can't be considered a slow payer...a slow payer makes progress on his loan slowly. Hell, even a run-of-the-mill stiff doesn't actively growtheir debt...
