    when do you start betting?

I know some of you start during spring training, some at the beginning of the regular season... I personally wait until about 3 weeks into the season to see how the starting pitchers are doing so far. Does anybody bet prop bets before the spring training?

I put 1 units on 5 different teams to win the World Series which I thought there was value on. I'll start my thread somewhere a couple of days with write-ups. REAlly excited about baseball.

This will be my first whole baseball season that I will start. Last year I started in September and did okay.

I dont bet on anything but MLB! NBA is the worst! I don't know how the bookies can make lines that good, but every game seems to come down to those last few free throws! (total and spread!)

Bob, you can make money on the spring training?

I tend to stay away from spring training unless I see something ridiculous like a split squad playing a full team and the odds are way off. Other than that, I like playing from opening day all the way into the playoffs. If you bet underdogs a lot, which I plan on doing this season, the beginning of the season is the best.

Probably betting the season opener out of degeneracy. Will start unloading in May probably.

By the way, I like the Pirates against the Cubs in the first day regardless of the starters.

It seems that bad teams always do alright the first little bit, and spring training can be good for dogs too. Stay away from the heavy chalk on top pitchers until they get into their groove.

Gotta bet opening day. May not be the smartest, but it is too much fun.

2nd week of may.....I try to stay away from -170 or over....If I like a heavy chalk starter and the pen is fresh, I,ll go runline.

From opening day and the dogs of April through the end of August. Don't necessarily quit in September but tread very lightly.
