    Interleague Kings

The Royals reign supreme in interleague play. Kansas City, which owns the second worst record in the AL, is tops in the majors with 10 interleague wins this season.

The line that gets my vote for the hardest to swallow today is the Mets being saddled with near -190 chalk with Oliver Perez on the mound. Yeah, I know the Mariners are sucking hind teat right now, and R.A. Dickey has been shaky at best. But geez Louise, how can anyone throw that sort of chalk on Perez?

I hate playing the Mets too, but Dickey is garbage. He was garbage as a regular pitcher with the Rangers and is garbage as a knuckleballer. I want to play the Mets and the over in this one...as I think Seattle is also capable of hitting Olive Perez. But Seattle can hit lefties very well interesting game with Perez on the bump

I certainly wouldn't. The Mariners have the possibility to win it. I think the oveer is a good play.

Good start Darrell...However my lean is Colorado today I know they pounded a lefty yesterday but De La Rosa has been good of late and is facing his old team....small lean Colorado

I think the best play may be the under there but KC is crushing lefties and Greinke has been the man and De La Rosa has been getting the job done

TB pen has been very good of late as well while FLA has had some issues. Rays pen last week 17.2 inn 6 hits 0 runs 5bb 17ks ...Balfour , Howell , Wheeler and Glover ( away 48.2 inn 33h 16 er ).

Another bad stat for Florida backers...which would be me today

    TODAY'S FREE PLAY: 6/24/08 - KC -150
I like the Royals and Greinke to handle the Rockies tonight in this one. KC is quietly 8-1 in their last 9 games. Greinke has had his ups and downs this season, but has maintained a 2.37 ERA in his last 3 starts. The Rockies are 6-21 in their last 27 road games. The Royals are 5-1 in Greinke's last 6 home starts. Royals should pull this one out here tonight.

De La Rosa is facing his old team, which could mean one of two things: either he will be successful because he knows the team well, or he will be awful since the team knows his pitching very well. I'm personally staying away from this one. But think about Barry Zito when he went to the crosstown Giants. He has pitched horribly in every matchup against his former team. I can't think of any other examples, but that may be the key to predicting the outcome of this one.
