Giants/Rangers: could this be the lowest rated World Series ever?

A matchup so unspectacular it rivals the Tigers/Cardinals and White Sox/Astros. Its like when the NHL had a Stanley Cup Final featuring Edmonton and Carolina the two smallest markets in the league.

All we need now is a Thunder vs. Pacers NBA Finals and a Rams/Chiefs Superbowl.

I think Rangers/Giants would be interesting....power hitting versus power pitching. Plus you have the most dominant pitcher in the postseason in Cliff Lee....although Phillies aren't completely out of it yet so just hold on a sec!

I realize that the phils and yanks have the monster markets, but giants rangers is the matchup I've been rooting for from the beginning. Both teams are very exciting to watch, for different reasons. The rangers appear to be the most balanced team in baseball (possibly outside of the phils), and the giants have shown that they have 3 pitchers with ace type stuff. Although the average bases fan may not be thrilled with this potential series, I will be happy to watch every pitch.

This World Series should be a good one. The Rangers get in after beating the famous Yankees.
The Giants get in after beating the 2 Time NL Champions.

In that case, Giants would sweep the series.

The TV networks are HOPING the Yankees will get in the WS. ..It won't happen.
This will be one of the lowest rating WS ever.
Hell , MNF had better rating than any SF/Philly game.
Who cares about the Rangers? Texas. Who cares about the Giants and Pilly?? About a the size of SF and Philly.

I think will be Texas and Philly.

Los Angeles will watch the WS in hopes to see the Giants fail. I have lots of "dodgers fans" friends who will tune in just for that.

Why do people care what the ratings are? Everybody acts like they are network executives. Just watch some great baseball if you're interested.

I think the baseball purists will watch a San Fran-Texas world series.

Your average fan will not have much interest in this match up.
