    Are you guys aware Doug Davis has thyroid cancer and regardless is starting for Ariz

    Sounds bizarre...

    I guess solid starting pitchers are hard to come by......




    LHP Doug Davis is to make his first regular-season start as scheduled Thursday, six days after learning he has thyroid cancer. "I'm still trying to get past the fact that he has what he has, let alone he is going to go out and pitch with it," manager Bob Melvin said.
