Oakland Athletics vs. Texas Rangers (MLB) - Jul 27, 2010 8:05 PM EDT
    Texas Rangers
Add in they have ace Cliff Lee finally settled in and ready to dominate. Expect a near sell out to support the Rangers and really give this team a lift. Gonzalez goes for OAK and should keep them close early. But, he has only averaged about 6 innings and 3 runs allowed in last 3 starts. That's not good enough to beat the best pitchers in last three years Cliff Lee. TEX blows this one open late as they really exploit an average bullpen.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Kansas City Royals (MLB) - Jul 29, 2010 8:10 PM EDT
Money Line: -131 Kansas City Royals

The Royals are worthy of a small play with Davies on the hill. KC has won each of his last 4 starts, including a win against the Yankees his last time out. Plus, the Royals are 4-0 in Davies' last 4 series opening starts, 6-0 in his last 6 starts as a home favorite of -110 to -150 and 5-0 in his last 5 starts versus the American League East. The Orioles are just 14-47 in their last 61 road games, and they don't appear to be in good hands with Matusz on the mound this evening. In fact, the Orioles are 3-14 in Matusz's last 17 starts, 1-7 in his last 8 starts as an underdog of +110 to +150 and 1-4 in his last 5 starts versus the American League Central.

Seattle Mariners vs. Chicago White Sox (MLB) - Jul 29, 2010 8:10 PM EDT
    MONEY LINE Chicago White Sox

Will make this short and sweet the CHW have won 10 in a row at home and are 8-1 overall on the season head to head with the lowly Mariners. Pauley goes for SEA who faced the CHW on 7/19 and gave up 5 runs as CHW cruised to 6-1 win. Garcia goes for CHW and even with a rough last outing we think he is sitting on really good start. Will help that SEA is only 2-9 in last 11 road games hitting under .250 in those games. Easy winner here as the CHW take advantage of a team that is just really bad.

GOOD LUCK AND HOPE WE KICK SOME A$$ TODAY

New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays (MLB) - Jul 30, 2010 7:10 PM EDT

Money Line: 106 Tampa Bay Rays A big series between the top two teams in the A.L. East starts on Friday night in Tampa Bay as the Rays host the Yankees. New York is sending the struggling Phil Hughes to the mound. He's 2-1 with a 5.19 ERA in his last three starts. The righty is sporting a 6.26 ERA over his last seven starts and he is struggling due to the increased innings he’s pitched. Hughes has given up at least six hits in five straight starts and in eight of his last nine starts overall. He hasn't started against the Rays since 2007 when he went 1-1 in two outings. B.J. Upton (2-6), Carl Crawford (2-5), Carlos Pena (2-3), Jason Bartlett (1-1), and Reid Brignac (1-1) all hit Hughes well. Tampa has won six straight games and seven of their last eight games overall. They are 25-13 against the A.L. East whom they score an average of 5.8 runs per game against. After a slow start, Wade Davis has bounced back big time for Tampa Bay. The righty is 3-0 with a 2.11 ERA giving up just five runs over his last 21.3 innings of work. Davis is 1-1 against the Yankees defeating them the last time they met. He held New York to two runs and seven hits in 5.7 innings of work. Mark Teixeira (1-7), Nick Swisher (0-4), and Juan Miranda (0-2) have poor numbers against Davis. The Yankees are hitting just .256 on the road, and since we expect Tampa Bay to hit Hughes well

    TODAYS PICKS

Florida Marlins vs. San Diego Padres (MLB) - Jul 31, 2010 8:35 PM EDT

Money Line: -109 San Diego Padres

The Florida Marlins opened up the weekend series versus the Padres with a win last night and tonight will look for a second in a row when they send right hander, Ricky Nolasco to the hill. Nolasco has pitched well this season and is 2-1 his L3 starts with a 3.20 ERA. However, the Marlins are only 2-3 in his L5 starts verus the Padres.
It won't be easy for the Marlins to grab the win tonight as the Padres have made big money versus right handed starters at home this season. Their starting picther, Kevin Correia has also looked good posting a 3.75 ERA in his last two starts and beat the Marlins ealier in the year in Florida.
Supporting Trends: CORREIA is 17-7 (+14.0 Units) against the money line after a loss over the last 2 seasons. FLORIDA is 6-17 (-12.5 Units) against the money line vs. NL teams allowing 3.8 or less runs/game on the season over the last 2 seasons. CORREIA is 10-2 (+8.8 Units) against the money line vs. teams averaging 2.75 or less extra base hits per game in the second half of the season over the last 2 seasons
You have a superior team, San Diego, listed as a short home favorite versus a Florida team that is only only 2-5 vs. San Diego.

New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays (MLB) - Jul 31, 2010 7:10 PM EDT

Money Line: 106 New York Yankees

Can't see Garza following up his no-no with that kind of effort. Vasquez has been a different pitcher since early in the year. Look for the Yanks to grind out a 'W' here.

Seattle Mariners vs. Minnesota Twins (MLB) - Jul 31, 2010 7:10 PM EDT

    Money Line: 101 Minnesota Twins

al pickKevin Slowey has been great for Minnesota winning 9 games so far 5 of which have come at home where he is starting on Saturday against Seattle. Slowey has faced Seattle once this season going 7 strong innings allowing just 1 run and getting the win. This one won't be as easy as he is going up against King Felix who is 7-7 on the year but with an era under 3. Hernandez has faced the Twins once and went 8 strong innings allowing just one run and picking up the victory. Look for another great pitchers duel with Minnesota edging out a win in the end.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Washington Nationals (MLB) - Jul 31, 2010 7:05 PM EDT

    Money Line: -124 Philadelphia Phillies

PhilliesRyan is 9-1 with his Top Rated 25* Titans and is also on a 7-1 totals run. On Wed. he released his 25* ESPN Titan Total + the play won before the first inning was even over. Join him again for this FOX Sports Total that is reinforced by his comprehensive research featuring a perfect 8-0 game situation.
5* graded play on Philadelphia as they take on Washington set to start at 7:05 EST. They are coming off a poor game and it is quite apparent that Oswalt was just feeling his way through the game and perhaps had some fatigue issues related to the the sudden travel to Washington and all of the media interviews he had to endure. That one start will not dictate whether that trade was a success or not and we are certain that once Oswalt gets accustomed to his teammates and especially his catcher Ruiz everything will fall into place. Blanton has been steadily improving, but his ERA still remains high. Washington has not done well against these types of starters as they are just 4-16 (-12.4 Units) against the money line versus a NL starting pitcher whose ERA is 5.70 or worse over the last 2 seasons. Phils are a solid 25-9 (+14.3 Units) against the money line on the road with a money line of -100 to -125 over the last 2 seasons. Nats are also 6-22 (-13.9 Units) against the money line after allowing 2 runs or less this season; 0-12 (-12.2 Units) against the money line after a win by 4 runs or more this season.

Chicago Cubs vs. Colorado Rockies (MLB) - Jul 31, 2010 8:10 PM EDT

    Money Line: -155 Colorado Rockies

With the Cubbies having now lost 3 straight including a whopping 17-2 lost last night. I can see them coming right back with another lopsided loss here tonight especially with Tom Gorzelanny getting the start here. Gorzelanny has not faired well against the Rockies resulting in a 10.80 ERA and 2.40 WHIP. Plus add in the fact that the Cubs bullpen in their last 3 games has thrown 16 innings producing a 12.94 ERA and 2.44 WHIP, and you can see how the Rockies can come with another big number on the scoreboard here tonight. Cubs are 0-4 in their last 4 after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game. Rockies are 10-3 in Hammels last 13 home starts vs. a team with a losing record. Rockies are 31-9 as a home favorite

LOSS 5-7

Rockies are 31-9 as a home favorite WON 6-5

    Heres more money line picks

Boston WON 5-4, NY Mets WON 5-4, St. Louis WON 11-1, Cincinnati WON 5-2

    Well 7 Wins 2 Loss
