If I had a dollar for every time you said "last play" and reneged, I would have a $1,000,000 bet tonight on the Tigers with said money.

The other Tigers, the Detroit kind, have been a cash cow for pretty much two years running now.

I see a couple of +150's for Wake still.
Pass, even if LSU knocks off WF, I still turn a profit.

And the Kurtz injury is a surprise. I mean I know he's been poop at the plate but what a paper doll.

First I'm hearing about Kurtz too.

Captain Obvious checking in, who ever draws first blood is your winner tonight, it just has that feel.

Wake might need a home run to get on the board.

    Speaking of Captain Obvious...

Lowder is keeping his pitch count low. Maybe Skenes blinks first?

They built that stadium backwards. Why the hell is the wind always blowing in?

I have friends in the midwest, KC, indiana, etc...
They have some funky weather out there.

I'm in the Northeast, our weather is predictable four seasons, in KC, the extremes are unreal,
I remember reading a story about Willie McGee, he said he played a game once in Bush that was so hot the bottom of his cleats melted.

How deep can Lowder go? He only has 51 pitches after 5 innings.

Both of them have gone 120 plus pitches earlier in the tourney.
Lowder can go another four innings at this pace, easily.
Skeens is closing in on 100 pitchers, the last WF out he needed nine pitches, that was a productive out.

And that may be where Wake finds a sliver of an edge late in the game.

Lowder got squeezed twice in a row.
I guarantee that lead off walk results in a run.

Both pitchers have been getting those calls all game, what's changesd?

Wake missed a great opportunity. Morgan is an absolute stud at first base. Guy flat out makes plays every game.

Huge inning for Massey. Holy smokes. Now 2-4 hitters due up against an LSU pitcher not named Skenes.

This ballpark is an abyss. I know the pitching has been great, but damn, even on good contact the ball rarely threatens the wall.

Wake IS tremendously overrated. LSU kills the bible thumpers with back to back game winning homers

LSU was the only team that could have knocked off LSU.
Said that half a dozen times,
    LSU sweeps Fla.

Bro, calm down... You said Wake was ahead of the class and possibly the GOAT, and that 2-4 teams were separated by razor thin margins.

The truth is that LSU is ahead of the class and easily ahead of 3-4.

Wake didn't have one good hitting game in Omaha. They're overrated. Their pitching got no help.

I did say LSU was the team I feared the most, and WF did stop hitting, so you're correct
Right or wrong, I stood by my convictions.
    LSU proved me wrong.
