The A's are moving to the Strip

I cannot believe that they are going to be right on the strip.

The Trop will be their new home. That place has lots of history.

seems like a pretty small stadium (30,000) for how packed and expensive raiders tickets are, average raiders ticket is over $500 vs about $100 in buffalo

Apples and Oranges. Baseball plays every day and probably would only sell out on the weekends or when the Yankees are in town.

The site at the Trop makes a lot more sense. Shorter walk from other Strip hotels.

good point, but still might get a ton of angels/dodgers/padres fans for those series... and it probably doesn't cost much more to do 40,000 seats than 30,000

I remember parking across the street and playing at their golf course..now site of the MGM.

I also golfed at the Dunes GC. Now site of Cosmo, Ny NY etc.

The best course on the strip was the Desert Inn. Now the Wynn,
    and Encore.

Played those with FH. I think that old fuk gave up golf too.

Agreed. Why not put 40k there. Will use it for other stuff too.
