I saw the Cards 35 to 1 to win the World Series the other day….
And didn’t even pull the trigger.Not even for some Pizza money. They are on fire. Meanwhile the Reds biggest choke job I have seen in a while. Haven’t won a 3 games series for at least a month. Had the easiest schedule down the stretch and can’t even beat my lowly Pirates.

Been rooting against the Cards since 2012. Early September that year when they were fighting for a wild card I bet an 80-1 World Series Future STL vs. Det. (250 to win 20K). STL was up 3-1 against SF in the NLCS & I was already counting my money without even thinking about hedging after Det. already swept the Yanks to make the WS. very rarely is a baseball team so good that futures on other teams are worthless. like in the NBA
but dodgers are so good and so much experience i cant even make any futures in MLB this year
I think they will get past the wild card game. 35 to 1 could potentially provide some hedge options. Not sure they will win the World Series but 35 to 1? They were definitely worth a shot at that point. We have seen them do this before. Not going to be shocked at all if they win the NL pennant.

don’t they have an “f” rating with SBR? Not that I fully trust SBR ratings, I mean they have intertops as an “a” book ffs. I do steer clear of any book they give an “f” to though….

They have some sticks in that line up, Arenado, Goldie, O’Neil is absolutely SHREDDED. That young kid I think Carlson is his name? Plus they have been playing fantastic defense.
I took them at +4000 for 750 the other day. I still like white sox to win but I had a gut feeling the cards were a team that might mess it up so had to cover myself a little

Cards are an easy team to root for, they've won more rings in the history of the sport not named NY Yankees.
Midwest (I know, I'm a KC fan) and St. Louis fans, are some of the best in the business.
Having said all that, I have no idea how they're doing it?
On paper their record says St. Louis is double digit wins better than KC, Minn. or Cle, but the team Wins Above Replacement says they are equal to the aforementioned three.
Pitching?
(Which almost always wins, usually but not always) is sub par.
