    On a side note, off point here, please explain to me why Mad Max W.A.R is only listed as 2.85??? And other pitchers not up to his standards have high ratings.

    That is a tough question since WAR is such a catch-all number that it is hard to tell which component is dragging it down. With just a quick eyeball test, his FIP (3.59) and xFIP (3.46) are both higher than his 2.76 ERA, and he has been lucky with a .233 BABIP (league average around .290) and 86.8% strand rate (league average around 70%).
