    Matt Keough, one of A’s ‘Five Aces,’ dies at age 64

    He had one of the most amazing turnarounds of any pitcher as did all the A's when Billy Martin took over and he blew out all of their arms. Keough said it was worth it because he never would have been any good otherwise.

    Keough was a pretty good pitcher under Martin but his greatest achievement was marrying the hot chick from the ZZ Top videos.

    Wasn't he the weakest link of the 5 aces? I can't remember.. Regardless 64 is cutting it off short.. RIP!!!

    Billy Martin had all of his starters with the A's throwing complete games. Sometimes I would wonder if they even had a bullpen.
