The deal comes with an $85MM guarantee, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network, with The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal adding that $15MM will be deferred.

The Arizona Diamondbacks and left-hander Madison Bumgarner have reached an agreement on a five-year, $85 million deal, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.
Bumgarner, 30, finished the 2019 season with a 3.90 ERA in 34 games for the San Francisco Giants. Bumgarner, who debuted in 2009, spent his whole career with the Giants until this winter. A postseason hero for San Francisco, he helped the franchise win three World Series titles in the last decade and was the 2014 World Series MVP.

    Agree to disagree

Agree: because he's 30, and he's in a desert in a hitters park
Division hitters are use to him

Disagree: he tops out at 91, never a power pitcher, an angle/location pitcher that's been dominant
Only 30 and 5 years-compared to the Yankees Gerrit Cole deal, D-Backs stole him

Great deal compared to Gerrit Cole

Hell, they're still paying Greinke form the next couple of years, plus his deferred money.
