    looks like padres gave up Franmil Reyes and Logan Allen and get back Taylor trammell?

    I hate this trade giving up Franmil for another young outfield prospect, hopefully there is something more coming back to SD.

    I don’t understand why Bauer was even available. He was being talked about in the trade market before the incident this weekend, why? The tribe are a game or 2 out of first and currently have a WC slot

    plus he’s under contract with manageable money rest of this season and and next. Just weird Indians wanted to get rid of him. Yeah he’s a bit of a character but is it really THAT bad?

    Well all of this makes no sense, except Padres loading an already stacked farm system...maybe they are stacking even more prospects to make a move for a big name without moving the farm pieces they already have (namely Mackenzie Gore)

    As a Padres fan, I was very upset when this trade first broke. Now after reading more about Trammell, it''s growing on me a little but i still don't like it. The Padres love Trammell's skill set as a left handed speed guy with good OBP and the Padres desperately need another lefty bat and guys that can get on base at a higher clip.

    the msg it sends to the team and confidence level of mgmt is ridiculous. 2 games out of 1st, one of hottest streaks since the break. like my guy banker says, sometimes i wonder if indians even want to win.
