Banker, I agree but the rules are the rules! I assumed the Padres would be in the mix but they are a game better than the Marlins and I really like Urena tonight....maybe I should have waited one day to start this thread!!

Good luck! Wonder how fading teams in games with the biggest win difference would go. It would be Rockies/D-Backs +281, but like 2daBank said, Marlins are tough vs lefties and Urena has been tough to hit at Home.

I have no clue on urena, I have never seen him pitch. His metrics say he overachieving a great deal but without seeing him hard for me to say he a big time regression candidate or simply the type of guy who gonna outperform his peripherals??

They went like 1-20 vs righties during a stretch that ended bout a week ago. Their actually only 4-5 vs lefties this year but Koehler was their starter in 4 of them and lost 3 and 3 were vs the Dodgers and one vs Keuchel. They're still good in my mind vs LHP, just seems like they rarely face them.

Phillies leading the pack w/17 wins & Marlins next w/21 wins. A number of teams w/22 wins.
I wanted to do something very simple without digging too much. Based on todays current records we just might have a few days where it might be a 3 teamer or possibly a 4 teamer...thread should profit over time.

I think the problem is unlike some years the "worst" teams really ain't that bad. I think pads prob are really bad but other than them the "bad" team while having worse record isn't any worse a team in most cases. Do we believe braves really any better than phils? Or even mil that much better than sf just cause record says so? I really don't. Rooting for you tho!

Man just when you got on a little roll you have to go and trust the cardinals, not good. Lol. I'd argue they playing every bit as bad as the worst teams.
Initially couldn't believe how high line was and was gonna back phils, after some more thought not real sure. Last series vs reds even tho cards held a sp adv every game the weakness of the offense and terribleness of the defense negated that adv, plus reds w huge advantage with bats and in pen. This series little more tricky as cards again hold sp advantage in this one but phils also sport a weak hitting lineup and crappy pen. No clue what gonna happen, cards starters may be able to win out against a soft hitting team. Wouldn't expect much from
Cards offense so hellickson should be able to compete. Anyone's guess which pen faulter worse?? Seems like teams way more evenly matched than line says!!
