I don't think the Yankee fans realize how stacked the Astros offense is. They are historically one of the best ever.

Lol. I hope you are being sarcastic. This Yankees offense is ten times better and it's not even the best lineup the Yankees have ever had. Houston historic offense? C'mon.

Astros dont have a weak spot in the lineup YES HISTORICAL Power and speed throughout the lineup, highest HR rate along with Highest contact rate. Dallas and Verlander to top it off!

I can't wait until CC FATSO Sabathia is on the mound VS Houston.... they will bunt right at the fat ass. and get a base hit each time.

? The astros have the best offense in the majors. You have five guys basically hitting .300 for the season, in postseason 6 guys hitting over .375! they averaged .333 as a team against the red sox and guys like chris sale

They also match up perfectly with all the fastball pitchers the yanks have, best in the major leagues against fastballs. This offense is a beast , most people just havent seen them play on TV yet. The astros offense just punished the yanks this year, a guy like altuve is one of the greats but people just dont see them on national tv and they arent talked about like the yankees

Where is the statsthat he is still nursing the injury ? He looked very strong for most of September and in postseason.Houston has much better starting pitching and much better offense and they match up great against the yankees pitching. This is a very good starting rotation

    Dallas keuchel 14-5 2.90 ERA
    Justin verlander 15-8 3.36 ERA
    Charlie morton 14-7 3.62 ERA
    Brad peacock 13-2 3.00 ERA

The only advantage I see for NY is the yankees have a better bullpen but people just havent seen how good the Astros are. This team is very good on the road too, a high powered offense that can win at fenway will take game in nyc. Look at the astros offensive numbers this year in ny against the yankees. They were 3-1 at yankee stadium and were just crushing the ball against yankee pitching, they match up great against yankees pitchers

Just a team alot of people havent seen yet and not alot of media attention, jose altuve should be mvp without a doubt. That offense is so much fun to watch and is a beast

Astros are a much much better offense than the indians and they crushed 3 guys on the red sox who could easily win the cy young this year like Sale, Pomeranz and Kimbrel plus crushed a former cy young winner like Porcello. I will take two cy young winners like keuchel and verlander on houston over any yankees starter plus a much better houston offense.

Houston offense is great, but their bullpen is a suspect. Yankees also got top 3 offense in the league, the difference will be the bullpen which Yankees are so much better than the astros, that should be the determining factor. Yankees in 6 or 5.

And Houston's 3 and 4 starters are pretty much 5 innings and done most starts.

Also 3 straight days of games will favor Yankees and deeper bullpen.

Yankees played 4 elimination games and not once did they have to use a starter out of the bullpen.

Offense is hot and awesome until it gets shut down, like the game 3 vs Boston. If Red sox didn't collapse pitching wise, we would be seeing game 5 between Sox and Astros and the narrative would switch, from how a Stellar offense to offense went to sleep. Chris sale been a bum since august, he's having a dead arm and red sox rotation is a mess, and to have David price shut down the astros tells me Astros offense is overrated, David Price pitched 7 innings shutout innings vs the Astros. Astros offense is best in major but they ain't invincible like alot of people make them out to be. They can be shut down, david price did it. And I have zero doubt that Yankees bullpen will shut down astros hitting, and the problem is will yankees starters do the same??
