Im having a tough week so far, down just under $700 hoping to grind it back...
Atlanta Braves @ Miami Marlins
Miami is a small favorite in basically a pk'em and the total is set @ 9 with juice on the under.
Julio Teheran is entering his last start, after another solid season logging over 30 starts once again. He is closing very strong going 4-1 w/ a 2.08 era in his last 6, while going deep in ball games. He has pretty good #'s vs miami (Except Ozuna) and especially Giancarlo only hitting .121 off him. I think that is an important factor here and Stanton seems to be pressing to get to 60 HR's, after that terrible wasted opportunity in Coors Field. Julio is 5-2 w/ 2.50 Era in 8 starts in Miami.
The Fish are sending out Rookie Dillion Peters who was excellent in his debut but has struggled since. Although the brewers and nats have explosive offensives, so that is not a surprise. However, the Marlins have not seen the kid yet and that could be a positive for the young pitcher tonight.
Obviously, Neither team has much to play for so the motivation angles are tough to find here. But a veteran Starter making last start, and Rookie trying to build for next season, I see no reason why they won't be ready to go tonight.
Now both of these Bullpens are ranked at the bottom of the league, and late in season, not sure if they using call ups to get work. So don't wanna mess w/ that.
Not a big play or anything, but I'll back these starters here tonight.
