    No, but fading teams that are in the midst of skids and riding those who are playing well is very profitable.

    It sounds very basic and it really is, but people often just chase some of these teams who are clearly in droughts hoping that they all of sudden bust out of it and end up in the whole very quickly.

    Sucker wasn't the best term to use, but anyone who lays close to -200 on the Red Sox who have lost 7 of 8 is a sucker.

    And no, I am not on all three. As of now I am on the A's and the Twins

    Simon's father passed away over the weekend and this game will be his first game since. He was slated to start wed in OAK. Maybe his mind is elsewhere and he is not 100% theree focus-wise.

    Just to side with Kerr's junk, Oakland is 17,20,21 B/P/F in this situation....translation....they are a below average baseball team until otherwise stated.

    the one concerning factor is the above average hitting vs RHP's with Oakland

    I just walked in 1/2 hour ago, just saw this thread, now Simon I believe is on a pitch/inning limit, so if you bet Oakland that is a good thing, because the Tigers have a leaky pen, however, Simon is torture on right handed batters, and let's face it Oakland's right handed sticks scare absolutely nobody. Oakland has no hits in the fourth I see, and this does not surprise me.

    I would not call a Tiger wager a sucker bet because if this game is scoreless in the seventh, or even 1-1, Tiger 'pen will find a way to blow it.
