    The Pittsburgh Pirates Aint No Joke

    Led by field genius Clint Hurdle this team might go deep into the playoffs this season. I don't think anybody wants to play them.

    Bullpen has 2 of the best relief pitchers in MLB in Watson and Melancon.

    Line-up - The once weak line-up now features some great raw power from Ike Davis and Pedro Alvarez.
    They got the MVP McCutchen, and a super star on the rise in Josh Harrison.
    Harrison at the current moment is the best player on the team, even better than McCutchen.

    The starting staff??? now they have been a dissapointment but they have some decent options in
    Locke and Liriano... but they will need a 3rd guy to step up if they are going to win a playoff series. Worley and Volquez are not capable of winning a playoff game... I guess the X factor will be if Gerritt Cole gets his act together.

    should be interesting down the stretch.

    The Reds handed them the game last night. If Reds were healthy the division wouldn't be close. Now if you had the Reds Starting pitchers you would have a great team.
