    Hedging Cards Series bet

Took the cards +200 to win series (for ease of math sake, let’s say for 100 to win 200) and haven't bet a game yet. Being far from greedy , time to hedge:

    game 4. Bet 50 on Det (+107):
If det wins, series now 2-2 , (+53)
    If cards win, 3-1 , (-50).
game 5: If 2-2, will make identical bet on Det. If 3-1, will either lay off or play double the game 4 bet on Det...haven't decided but getting paid when it's over regardless.

Why not just cut out all the math, and bet the updated series price.

    St. Louis Cardinals -171
    Detroit Tigers +161
alot better to hedge your bet this way oppose to going the single game route.

Good point, and one i hadn't considered. I see it will pay min of +61 up to +100. Single game should also be able to win at least +50 minimum and several scenarios pay +150 or more. Now back to drawing board (computer) to see if i can do both...Thanks for your input!

Hedging by game and series can't happen...still playing with numbers...

Detroit now +426 for series. Hedge there and forget single games (or GAME) IMO.

Good Luck Whichever Way You Go.
