Tigers will still win the central

Whitesox will come back to reality

    Indians?

Tigers head to the break with a 5gm win steak. Bats are coming back alive. Bullpen has been very good (beside the Valverde debacle yesterday but that was a non save situation so we already know that history)

Only thing we need to do is get rid of Ryan Rayburn.

Nocoin, I know u dont agree with this, so no need to add how bad u think tigers are.

you almost have to figure tigers +120 at best, possibly closer to even money, even tho they in 3rd books not stupid and on paper they far and away the best...if im wrong and they more plus than that i will be putting a wager on them...

I was thinking the same thing about Detroit but their only 3.5 games back now. So odds won't be that great. I really think the Angels have a good chance to win the AL West. Also considering Mets to win NL East and St. Louis to win NL Central. I don't see anyone catching up to the Yanks in the AL East. I have no idea who will win NL West... their all such bad teams lol

They have a shot, but it's not a lock.
5 game win streak vs Twins and KC @ home is not intimidating anybody

But the White Sox or the Indians failed to put any serious distance on Detroit, therefore Tigers still in it.

CWS & Cleveland got some pieces to win the division.
    They're really not that bad.

They have yet to get hot this Season, but ever since Berry joined the team they have been playing a lot better. I still think there going to get on a nice run here soon and pass everyone as well.

We'll see what the Tigers are all about when they get back...having series with the O's, Angels, and White Sox...not these bottom dwellers who they should be pounding.

I think Detroit will be the best team in the second half in the central. Being only 3.5 back they should be able to make that up and win, but I doubt they run away with it. They aren't that much better. The Tigers are just lucky they aren't in the East or the West where they would be 8 or 7.5 back. That would probably be too much to overcome.

    Verlander, all star starter
Max, top 5 in the league in strikeouts
    Fister, solid pitcher
    Smyly, average
    Porcello, total Shit gascan

    Verlander,
Max, strikeouts mean nothing. Get outs consistently. Max doesn't. He's average at best.
Fister, solid for half a season a year ago pitching way over his head. He's a bum this year.
Smyly, sh*t. Congrats to Drew for finally picking up a quality start. It only took him 9 tries. When this guy has the 2nd best era among your starters at 4.42 (and growing), then you know your rotation is in trouble.
    Porcello,

In a weird way, I think this may eliminate the Indians if they can't win this series.
Mngmt may give up and trade their important pieces.

Rumors are that they may trade Chris Perez and Shin Soo Choo.

So tonight, we might see Cleveland unofficially concede the division, if they can't win.

Well they didnt exactly cruise to the title, but in the end it doesnt really matter. Tigers are hot going into postseason. Hope they can keep it going!
