    If you take away the month of April from Rangers hitting statistics they would be toward the bottom of the AL in many categories

    Pitching has been consistent enough

    Mike Napoli and Michael Young have been really bad

    No production from the catcher position or 1st base

    All around team cant hit with RISP

    Team cant hit vs. lefties

    Kinsler underperforming at 2B

    Hamilton slumping

    Beltre and Andrus are doing OK but cant do it alone

    Cruz is hit or miss

    With Mark Appel going back into the draft, I'm now pushing hard for the Cubs to trade LaHair, Dempster, Garza so that they can finish with the worst record in baseball and draft Appel. I have a feeling he is going to be the obvious number 1 choice next year.

    That Appel must really hate the Pirates. He rejected a max signing bonus offer in order to go back to school. Finishing school is great, but what else is he going to do, that someone will offer him 3.5million on pure potential.

    guy wanted 6 million... that is why no one wanted him... with the new slot rules for draft picks, no team was gonna give him the $ he wanted...Pirates knew Boras would **** this up and they would get a great picknext year... this year's draft sucked.

    That is a bit of a reach. Next year's draft is projected to be about the same as this one.
