    Yep, fat fingers on the keyboard ride again!

    No, I'm not playing the Red Sox, thought that it was clear that I just don't have the cojones to lay over -200 on an unproven arm, regardless of his potential, like Masterson. Just figure to see some offense with both pitchers on the mound in this one.

    always good to find a parlay partner when laying odds like that. -200 is some serious wood and not many pitchers are deserving of that kind of moneyline.

    Well it's really just because I have a mental block once chalk goes to -180 or higher. Just part of being a cheap old bastard. At least I was correct (for once!) about the total.

    That brings up an interesting topic worth researching. Off the top of my head I'd say Tom Seaver, Jim Palmer, and Nolan Ryan had to get those kind of lines more times than not but I could be wrong. Anyone know where one can get this kind of information? TIA.

    of course they got those moneylines. Inferior pitchers get those moneylines often in baseball today.

    I agree that laying heavy chalk is not wise.

    I was just confused by the title of it, because it seemed to be recommending a Red Sox play.
