It can go both ways with that. Trust me... I'd be worried that Peavy owns the Tigers' bats in his career.

Well the Tigers are on fire right now....

If anything, you'd have to consider the over given how familiar both teams are with each other. Seems like Max pitches against the White Sox all the time.

People have weird lines of thinking with baseball... Max always pitches well against the White Sox so the over seems like the play? Strange shit... maybe it'll work out. lol

So the Tigers have seen Peavy a lot so they'll hit him, but the White Sox have seen Max a lot but they won't? I don't understand what you're trying to say.

When did I say the Tigers would hit Peavy well? I am on the under so I obviously don't feel that way. Peavy owns the Tigers' overall... Pitchers can get just as much info on recent starts as hitters can. It isn't just a blind 'hitters win' thing when you see each other a lot.

Where did I say it was? The line is moving toward the over for a reason. That's all I'm saying.

lol... its moving towards the over because people are stupid. Max has a career ERA around 2 against the White Sox for a reason. Peavy pitches well against the Tigers for a reason too. It is all match ups.

It's sorry that for the past two days the bull pen couldn't close the door.
I'm going to start the progression over but since the series that we just finished
wasn't a pricey one feel free to continue.

    Today's Pick for May 15, 2012.

Scherzer has racked up already 45 strike outs on the year and the white sox lead the AL in Ks at like 280.

Yeah but the white sox have not seen Scherzer 3 times already this year and now this will be the 2nd time in 10 days Detroit have seen Peavy.

big advantage to Detroit hitters as they will have had Jakes tendancies figured out. what pitch selection he likes to go to in certain counts and what not. any time you give a MLB hittter the advantage of knowing whats coming to the plate, they are going to produce.

I'm not disagreeing. Interesting to me that Pinny's TT on Detroit is 4 with most other books at 3.5. With the line moving in Detroit's favor, you might very well be right.

the difference here is, yeah Peavy may know how to pitch certain guys, and where they have holes in their swings. but when they (hitters) know what pitch is coming they know when to lay off a pitch they dont like and when to be hacking at their pitch and not the pitchers pitch.

Austin Jackson walked... how is that a hit?

EDIT: Now with that double there have been 2 hits in the inning. LOL... no runs though, Peavy usually needs to settle down so its a good sign he got out of that unscathed.

One thing you can't predict is a pitcher having an outing like this. Max... are you really going to walk an automatic out? Hes hitting .200 for god's sake.

right at someone. Dunn scares me right now. Max will settle down and pitch to the bottom half if he can get out of this. See that from him all the time.

White Sox announcers are so annoying.

Max's slider isn't breaking at all.
