    Wind effect on Knuckleball pitchers??

Any idea of how this effects the pitcher??

Was looking at taking the mets today, wind in from left 10-20 mph and gusty...

Knuckleball pitchers struggle big when the wind is blowing in Dickey likes it best when the wind is right in
    his face.

The humidity has more to do with Dickey's success than the wind... Trust me. Or ask him.

Expound on that please. High humidity favourable?

This is a good thread, I don't know as much about it as I should.

High humidity is favourable for Dickey, yes. When the air is denser, it allows the ball to 'grab' the air more, which results in more movement.

And pitching into the wind isn't really that great for knuckleballers as they have to guide the pitch to home more instead of just throwing it.

A lot of knuckleballers like domes because the air is controlled and pitchers identify and exploit currents and soft spots.

The worst place for a knuckleballer would be Colorado on a cold, dry day.
