    In sports... what else is comparable to a double play?????

    Got an inning bet. Top half and they blank em. No hits, no runs.

    Now all my team needs is one run. Can't possibly lose, only push or win.


    First 2 batters walk. 1st and 2nd and no outs. Good chance at getting a run...

    A double play isn't that crazy. The infield shifts and the pitcher locates. It's a designed play. It's unfortunate but it isn't comparable to most of the things people have posted in here.

    To me it's like getting a double minor for high sticking because of blood. It's bad enough it's a fukking penalty/out, but it's twice as much damage? Fukk.

    Nothing is comparable really.

    Instead of the double play it would be better to send up a random SBR poster and hit. That would be strikeout which is way better than double play.

    Putting the ball in play is preferred to a strike out. Still opens up possibility of an error or beating out the throw. A strike out is a dead out.
