Oakland looks to keep up the pace atop the AL West behind Haren tonight at home against Kazmir and the D-Rays.

The Oakland A's are starting to put some distance between themselves and the rest of the AL West, due in large part to them winning 9 out of their last 11 games.
Tonight's starter, Dan Haren, is in fine form, winning 3-straight decisions while giving up just 4 ER's in his last 23 innings of work. He does his best work at home, with an ERA of just 3.13 and has been phenomenal in his two career starts vs the Devil Rays.
Tampa Bay starter Steve Kazmir is the ace of the Devil Rays' staff, but he is making his first start since July 23 due to soreness in his shoulder and we aren't exactly sold on him being 100% at this point. Even if healthy, Kazmir has been just an average pitcher on the road this year for a Devil Rays team that is an ugly 18-42 away from home thus far.
This is the type of series that the A's have to win if they hope to hold onto their lead in the division and we like them to get it done tonight behind their hottest pitcher.
