Why not just start CJ tonight?

He's already up and throwing in the bullpen. Why didn't Washington just start him tonight?

His plan should be to start his best available pitcher for game 7.

Every starter but Lewis, is in the pen. I don't think we will see regular relievers tonight, it will be all starters..

wilson is burned out after 2 years of pitching well over 200 IP after being a reliever. he hasn't been a good pitcher for a month. no way a good manager gives him the ball.

the interesting part is how he will play in the free agent market. some astute teams my see this as a trend of being overworked and pass on him at the outrageous price he is going to get.

I agree. He'll still bring in Feliz in a save situation though.

You 100% right, he's the type of pitcher Baltimore would sign to a six year 88 mil, type of deal.

Have to get the lead back and every inning it is more clear that they are not set up for nl ball

    A) Ron sticks to his plan

    B) Wilson has sucked all playoffs and would be going on short rest. Might as tell take a pitcher that isn't half bad and is fully rested.

If Texas loses this game it'll have been because Ron Washington didn't want to hurt CJ Wilson's feelings.
