Curtis Granderson Should be Uninamous Choice for AL MVP

how is there even really a debate??

Granderson's on pace for 45 homeruns - 127 RBI - 31 Stolen bases with a fantastic OPS... and he plays one of the most important positions on defense as a centerfielder

Not to mention he's the main reason the Yanks have had such an explosive offense all season while missing A-rod for a large chunk of it

Yanks would still be in the playoffs without him. Verlander all day long.

he is definitely making a case for himself, I am interested in his home/road splits to see what they are because playing in Yankees Stadium sure helps.
Edit to add they are pretty even, so I say right now sure he looks like an obvious MVP choice. But there is still a month left lets wait and see what happens. If Verlander ends the season with 25 wins or something crazy like that who knows he may get it.

Anyways the better question is, who is MVP in the NL. Since the AL there are only a couple of clear favorites.

Ellsbury, Pedroia, and Verlander all deserve it over Granderson as of now IMO, but he's definitely catching up

Well he is going to have more balls come to him in center, then berkman will have in right. Berkman is slow, un-athletic , and can't throw. At least he can get to balls.

i think it has be to Granderson.

Verlander only plays ever 5th day and is responsible for only 19 wins so far... i'm sure Granderson has helped the Yankees win more than that.

But Verlander is an awesome pitcher. I really like watching him pitch. I can't believe he can hit 100mph in the 8th and 9th inning. I wish he would teach me how to throw 100mph

Jose Bautista. Better defensively and offensively. Toronto will miss the playoffs, but what can they do? They're stuck in a division with two teams that buy as many top players as they can each year.

there really shouldn't be a debate, no way anyone but Bautista deserves the MVP.

3 of the other yankee players can put the numbers granderson has this year. No team can do that

bautista's the best player in baseball, there's no doubt about that but there's no way in hell he wins the mvp for obvious reasons
