    Pirate hitters are pathetic!

    How bad is this lineup? ever since they got ludwick they can't hit. San Diego couln't hitwith him either. This team has a minor league lineup.

    Horrible and as much as I like McCutchen, he's not good, he just looks great among the horrible Pirates lineup.

    They had a guy on third in the 9th and they can't get him home. This is sad. The franchise should just fold.

    Why in the hell would you bet on the Pirates today? I don't get it, Brewers are great at home, and are playing their best ball of the year. Not only that they beat Pit 33/34 times at home, and the last time they face the Pit. SP they scored 6 runs off of him.

    Wow.... can it get any worse? They lead off with a triple and can't score. They seriously have a minor league line up. Why not pinch hit with derek lee? He could hit a sac fly atleast.

    Got to give credit to Axford right now, I don't think there is anyone better in the MLB then him. And you don't go for the tie at home, with your best power hitters. Maybe Ron Ron would for us, he loves the squeeze play but most managers never do it.

    estrada is the second worst pitcher in Brewers (first Parra) and if Estrada allows only one hit, pirates hitters are pathetic

    Why bet on the pirates today???? maybe, because they are +157. Estrada was only suppose to be able to throw about 60 pitches today. Yes they are 2-34 against milwaukee. But their aweful hitting made estrada look like a cy young winner. The pirates were the play today.

    I have been saying since last year, when he was a rookie...and develope himself...for example he has better curveballs this year

    Yeah his curve ball is great this year, it was kind of ****** up to begin the year due to sloppy mechanics but his 97 mph fastball and that curve is wow.

    Esp. when he throws that curve ball for his first pitch strike, that is almost unhittible.

    Not really, considering Estarda was our starter early in the season so he was going to pitch around 4-5 innings. He was great for us as a starter, and besides a few games he has been a pretty good reliever.
    And like I stated Brewers own the Pirates at home, and they have dominated Corriea once already at home, obviously that didn't happen today but it just makes no sense to put any money on them.

    I think you were looking to hard to try to find a big splash,

    You can't just look at slug. percentages, like that. Nyjer has faced a lot of righys only which helped those numbers also a lot of doubles.

    McCuthcen can hit 25-30 hrs a year.

    Yes, which brings me to my point. Even if they were +275 or whatever they were today why would you lay any money on them. If you go back and look at Estarda's staring jobs he did great in till his last start to face the braves, and well he is facing a bad offense.

    Maybe I just don't understand why people bet on these types of games, where the brewers are clearly the favorite, have dominated the other team 95 percent of the time, are playing their best ball of the year but because the Pirates are big underdogs they bet on them? I know I am just a simplistic person but there is a reason why they are huge underdogs.
