    JMD Labby Method (system)

Similar to DaBA's system, but even more lucrative is this system

I will be betting 1st run innings yes / no based on start times. You ask how is this different then DaBA's system? Two answers to that:
    1) He only bets certain games with the best odds. If there are 4 games at 7:00pm he chooses the one with the best odds. I on the other hand will be able to bet all 4 games.
    2) He uses traditional labby method. I on the other hand use a more lucrative labby method called the 4 strike labby.

*-- 4 strike labby is when you start with 4 #s on the line preferably totally 1 unit. You bet 1st 2nd 3rd and last # on the line. If you lose you only add 1 # to the line.

*DaBA's only runs 1 labby line at a time, which makes him miss out on a lot of games and a lot of money. By running multiple lines, probably 5 lines, you will be able to bet every game.

*note I will be taking my biggest labby line and applying it to the biggest favorite.

Favorite = the yes / no with the worse odds. If no = -165 and yes = -115 then the NO is the favorite and vice versa.

That is the other difference between his system and mine. He also labby's dogs individually. It is profitable to do so as he showed in his thread, but the variance is a killer!

*note I will be having other people helping to keep track of my bets because im in the process of moving and dont have full acces to the computer at all times.

*note because the odds are always changing for people for MLB, your labby line may differ from mine a little bit in terms of wager size, however the should clear at the same rate.

With that said there is a game today at 3:35 that i will be placing my first bet on.

Unit size = $5 (Just cause im a smaller bettor does not mean i do not know what im talking about, so all you haters, just wait for the results to speak for themselfs.)

There are about 3 sets of games through out the day I will be following; early, middle, late games. Run 4-5 labby lines at a time for this. This will allow you to bet every game, but you will have to login after each set of games to reaverage your lines and place bets for the next set.

with that Said lets make some bets:
    Labby line: 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25
    *using 4 strike labby method
First bet of the system: 3:35 ET (sf / min ) (No) (odds -165) Wager $8.25 to win $5

    Best of luck to everyone

I should probably break down the 4 strike labby method a little further for those who start following and how i will manage it.

4 strike labby starts with four (4) #s on a line betting first 3 and last # as the amount you want to win.
1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 for example in todays game, im betting $8.25 to win $5 (TOTAL Of the starting labby line).

If I lose the bet the line becomes:
1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 / 8.25, but instead of leaving the line like this I use what is called individual line averaging, so this line actually becomes:
    2.65 / 2.65 / 2.65 / 2.65 / 2.65
Notice i have same amount of #s on the line. Just take sum of all #s and divide it by total #s in play.

If this bet wins you are left with: $2.65, Using a 4 strike method this would usually become a chase method. However, I would take that $2.65 and divide it by 4. Which becomes .67 / .67 / .67 / .67

I know you are saying, "well you are betting the same amount still, which is true, but if you were to lose next bet it stays as a 4 strike labby instead of a chase.

*to make more money, you could add a unit or part of a unit if your labby line drops down to less then 1 unit in size. For people with small bankrolls like myself that use betus.com I will be doing this periodically through out the system because betus.com has a $5 minimum wager.

Yes. You could do both sides obviously, but i dont want to do a lot of systems at once due to my bankroll size. As my bankroll gets bigger maybe ill include dogs. I chose favorites because they will clear lines faster then the dogs would. Also DaBA has already had a loss with his martingale chase system betting on dogs. Even though favorites are bigger bets it still has less variance interms of clearing lines.

    System +1 unit

    Labby lines:
    1) 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 (SF cleared the first line using 4 strike labby, so just replaced it with a new line for the next bet).
    2) 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25

Labby line 1: (phi / stl) NO, Odds -145, [$7.25 to win $5]
Labby line 2: Ari / Kan, no, odds -135, [$6.75 to win $5]

Best of luck on the final 2 games of the day.

JMD, this is indeed a fantastic spin on DaBa.

I haven't got time at the moment to check the bets and labby lines twice or three times a day, but I will be watching your progress. Do you think it would be profitable to bet on just one set of games, i.e. day or evening games?

I've got time every morning, so just tell me what I could do to help out!

i'm new to this labby line.
so if you have for example 4 or 5 games at the same time you use 4 lines?

    10 10 10 10
    10 10 10 10
    10 10 10 10

or can i use 3 lines for 3 game bet(a,b,c) and use line 1 only for a bets and line 2 for b bets and line 3 for c bets?

    like: a: 10 10 10 10
    b: 10 10 10 10
    c: 10 10 10 10

    which one is better?

With 4 strike labby just about anything is possible. You could just bet 4-5 games you like for the day, then next day after you average your bets, do the same thing again and just select 4-5 games again. You will be missing out on a lot of bets though. The other way you could do it is run 15 lines!!! Yes i said 15! 1 for each game of the day. Icebet has been doing this with overs / unders and has done really well so far.

I will be running any where between 1-6 lines. Today for example there are 5 games about 7:00, so i will be using 5 lines. At 8:00 there are 6 games, so i will have to add a extra line into the mix.

The games with the worse juice are usually the biggest favorites and more likely to clear your lines. There for, I will be using my biggest labby line for that game in that particular set. If i have 6 lines open and there are only 4 games i always make sure my biggest line gets action.

There are no A B C bets, so use your first method and run multiple lines. A lot of people think its too hard to manage so many lines. It is a bit tedious, but it is worth the money.

Hardest way to make an easy living.

    6/23/11
yesterday we went 1 win 2 losses
    SF won $5 for us
    PHi lost $7.25
    ARI lost $6.75

So we are currently down -$9 or -1.8 units.

After adjusting the lines for today they are:
    1) 2.45 / 2.45 / 2.45 / 2.45 / 2.45
    2) 2.35 / 2.35 / 2.35 / 2.35 / 2.35
    3) 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25
    4) 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25
    5) 1.5 / 1.25 / 1.25 / 1.25

First set of games for today:
    Labby line 1: (Bos / Pit) NO [$15.19 - $9.80] Odds -155
    Labby line 2: (Bal / Cin) Yes [$11.75 - $9.40] odds -125
    Labby line 3: (Oak / phi) Yes [$6.25 - $5] odds -125
    Labby line 4: (ARi / det) Yes [$6 - $5] odds -120
    Labby line 5) (Nyy / COL) yes [ $6 - $5 ] odds -120

After the 1st innings are over for these games i will reaverage the lines and post the new bets. Remember we are doing 4 strike labby so bet 1st three #s and Last # on each line.
If a line gets down to 1 # i divide it by 4. If that # is smaller then 1 unit, then ill increase the wager to 1 unit. This part sounds a little confusing, but you will see it works easily.

    Good luck to everyone.

Interleague games have the tendency to go over more often than not, but still, the books know what they're doing and your strategy looks really cool. Hope you have the time to grind every day and make some $!

I'll drop by daily and start tailing after the interleague's over, probably with the day set first.

    Thanks and GL, jmd!

Adjusted 1st 2 lines after Bos and BAL didn't win for us.

    Labby line 1: 4.57 / 4.57 / 4.57 / 4.57 / 4.57 / 4.57
    Labby line 2: 3.92 / 3.92 / 3.92 / 3.92 / 3.92 / 3.92

    Labby line 1: (Tam / Hou) NO [$29.25 - $18.28] odds -160
    Labb line 2: (Min / Mil) No [21.95 - 15.68 ] odds -140

just be careful with multiple labby lines. i don't know how how big your unit size is with respect to your BR, but a bad run could possibly destroy you. gl with your new system.

Ok the 3rd set is going to become some what confusing. Ending labby lines after last set is
    L1: 4.57 / 4.57
    L2: 3.92 / 3.92
    L3: 2.25
    L4: CLeared
    L5: 2.3 / 2.3 / 2.3 / 2.3 / 2.3
    L6: 2.35 / 2.35 / 2.35 / 2.35 / 2.35

Because there are only 4 games in the last set im going to adjust the lines to the following:
    L1: 4.57 / 4.57 / 2.25 (added line 3 to line 1)
    L2: 3.92 / 3.92 / 2.3 / 2.35 (adding 1 # from line 5 and 6 to line 2)
    L5: 2.3 / 2.3 / 2.3 / 2.3
    L6: 2.35 / 2.35 / 2.35 / 2.35

The bets for the 3rd and last set of the day are:
    L1: (sea / FLA) NO [19.36 - 11.39] odds -170
    L2: (ATL / SD) NO [23.73 - 12.49] odds -190
    L5: (Cle / sf) NO [15.18 - 9.2] odds -165
    L6: (LAA / LOS) NO [15.51 - 9.2] odds -165

I set it up this way, so we have a chance to clear all 4 of our lines and have fresh lines tomorrow.
There seems to be a lot of juice on these late games. Hopefully that means we clear all 4 lines.

Each person can manage or start their labby line with however many units they want. 4 strike labby clears pretty fast, so dont really see the need to start to small. Even when the record is like 4-12 the lines are still going to clear.

    Profit: -$4.29 or -.8 units
    Record: 9-9

    Remaining Labby lines:
    L5:4.88 / 4.88 / 4.88 / 4.88 / 4.88
    L6: 4.98 / 4.98 / 4.98 / 4.98 / 4.98

I will add some lines tomorrow for the games, but those are the labby lines as of right now. The early game tomorrow at 1:00 I will be Using L6.

To only be down 1 unit so far and have about 10 units in play is pretty good.

Tomorrow should be a better day for us.

2nd set of games for 6/25

***Im going to switch to Traditional Labby method for the time being, but start with 2 units on a line instead of 2. I think it will clear at a similar rate to the 4 strike***

Except for L5, I will finish clearing that line with 4 strike method.

    These are the 4:00 games.
    Labby lines after 1st set.
    L5: 4.88 / 4.88 / 4.88 /4.88 / 4.88
    L6: 2.5 / 2.5 (It was at 4.98 left on line, i just added a couple pennies)
    New Added lines:
    L1: 2.5 / 2.5 / 2.5 / 2.5
    L2: 2.5 / 2.5 / 2.5 / 2.5

    L5: (4 strike method): (CLE/SF) NO [$37.09 - $19.52] Odds -190
    L6: 2.5 / 2.5 (LAA/LOS) NO [7.75 - 5]
    L1: 2.5 / 2.5 / 2.5 / 2.5 (WAS/CWS) NO [6.75-5]
    L2: 2.5 / 2.5 / 2.5 / 2.5 (NYM / TEX) YES [6.00 - 5.00]

    best of luck to all.
