Phillies have home-advantage and better bullpen, but Milwaukee has better starting pitching and almost as good lineup.

I think I'll throw few coins on the Brew Crew to advance at current odds. It's closer to a crapshoot than odds suggest IMO.

i dont think brewwers have close to as good of a limeup
nor do i think they have better pitching

hammels is not much worse than CC, suppan is awful, bush is awful.

phils lineup is way better. brewers have two hitters: braun and prince

Phils have slightly better lineup, but their hitting numbers are affected by their home park quite a bit too. Brewers have all-around capable lineup.

C.C is a machine, and Gallardo is back. Sheets will probably sit this series out, but both Bush and Suppan throws OK home games time to time.

Hmm, I'm not 100% sure of the rotations, but this is what I've copied to my notes from some baseball site today.

    "Projected Rotations

Brewers:@ RH Yovani Gallardo (0-0, 1.88), LH CC Sabathia (11-2, 1.65, 7 complete games in 17 starts with Milwaukee after July 7 trade from Cleveland; 17-10, 2.70, 5 shutouts and 10 CGs overall), RH Jeff Suppan (10-10, 4.96 ERA), RH Dave Bush (9-10, 4.18).

Phillies:@ LH Cole Hamels (14-10, 3.09, 196 strikeouts), RH Brett Myers (10-13, 4.55), LH Jamie Moyer (16-7, 3.71), RH Joe Blanton (4-0, 4.20 with Phillies after July 17 trade from Oakland; 9-12, 4.69 overall)."

If the Twins win tonight, i think they are a great bet vs. Rays at nice price. I do agree with your other three ryan.

CC will start 2 games so if they can just pull 1 of the 3 other games out then they will win the series. I might buy the Brewers

yeah that is a fair assumption IMO, CC has been dominant and I think he'll continue it in the postseason. It's open audition for him right now and he WILL win 1 game and more than likely 2 IMO. I'm not sold on Philly in the postseason either.

cc was dominant last yr then awful in the postseason

no reason to think hammels wont win 2, he is no worse than cc

CC won't struggle against the NL though. Milwaukee is getting very good value imo. Like I said, I'm not sold on Philly. When CC is on the hill it just seems like they know they're gonna win and that it HUGE in the postseason.

EDIT: Ryan, who do you like in the Sox/Angels series?
