The 2024 Masters was the 88th edition of the event. The previous tournament was played on the longest version of Augusta National used to date. Much of the added length was in addition to the par-5, 13th hole, bringing it to a new distance of 545 yards in an effort to raise the hole's scoring average from its 2022 mark of 4.83.

That added difficulty only compounds matters for the best golfers in the world. The tight tree lines, severe elevation changes in the fairways, and undulating greens will pose their usual tests. Not that Augusta National needs to play much more difficult, with Rahm being the only golfer to finish at double-digits under par last year.
