I have a soft spot for Halep from last year. I made A L O T of money off her last year as favorite and underdog.

Isner @1.5 now on bet365. I actually think Verdasco has a shot at this game but it really depends which Verdasco shows up on the day. Was going to avoid this game but with kenz record speaking for itself, really tempted to take Isner. What do? Hmm...

    hey Diggs,
i might agree and consider Basketball a viable sport to bet on profitably...but just as you gotta rule out the broads, the dubs, and the scrubs from tennis...you gotta rule out some kinds of plays that are way worse than baccarat for reducing your bankroll

you gotta swear off two types (the most popular types of bets, really...hmmm, books are the shepherds and bettors are the sheep, lol): the two "break your heart" bets given the unreal % of meaningless garbage points in a typical game...handcaps (especially negative fave-spreads) and totals of any kind...ML's are not nearly as popular...but if you're selective in picking both ur dog and fave spots there's lots of $ to be made...just like with tennis and MMA really...and you can reduce levels of chalk intelligently in baskets with the occasional positive-handicap or ML-parlay

(BTW, everything i said about Basketball is equally true of AmericanFootball ...if u don't avoid the standard -110 hc's/totals...you're just donating to the books same as in baskets)...there's a reason Deuce and lots full-timers rely almost exclusively on MLB and NHL to get thru the betting year...they're ML-based and goals/runs are relatively hard to come by, so any totals/spreads you do take are more reliable...Soccer also can be profitable for similar reasons (but there the buggaboo isn't garbage points screwing with your bet and you head...it's the draws...& "garbage motivation": understanding the importance of each game with all the simultaneous competitions/leagues a team is involved with and how it affects morale and lineups is the key there...situational angle is mind-boggling...gotta dedicate fully to it, like Kenz does now with the tennis)

but yeah, as long as you aren't a "-110 spread and totals" zombie, as far as baskets go, the college and/or female versions of it are just as viable a source of betting value as the men's-pro version

and it's definitely ok to consider betting on "the bangin' broads" = women's MMA...just as good/maddening with the females and the males (with this sport it's the officiating that sucks...seems to be at least one hi-profile ridiculously shitty decision/early-stoppage per card)...i'd like to see Sarah McMann and Rousey fight next time!

I have half my bankroll on wawrinka. A loss would be fairly devastating for me. Famous last words.

I hope you guys betting half your bankroll win, but even if you do betting half your roll isn't wise unless you enjoy redepositing.

Matt, Big Kev has raised his level of game(i mean improved just in rallies) in last year i would say and he is not anymore just serve machine.. Anyway, if Stan isn"t injured too much should outplay him in 8/10 rallies anytime

    "put things in perspective" department

had to have a down day sooner or later...15 up-days in a row is (now, "was") clearly unsustainable...

now that it's happened, and you've given bak about 1k of the 10k u'd accumulated over this thread...what should you change, Kenz?

absolutely nothing, bro...keep doing what u'r doing...

I had some things to do, could not watch the games. I just had time to check the scores. It was a huge disappointmet needless to say

I found some comments elsewhere that Wawrinka did not look good out there, probably a back injury. If you are not ok, you should retire.

As much as I like the guy it will be hard to overlook what he did today to me and some fellow people here. Sorry people I just could not think for a second Kevin could do an upset here. Tough loss

Wawrinka after losing the 1st set went in to get his back checked. Personally, don't think it actually affected him much but rather that Anderson just was better on the day. Anderson's ground strokes have increased considerably this year and he destroyed Wawrinka in rallies. Anderson's serve was slightly off hence him getting broken quite a few times so quite impressive he still won when his supposedly biggest weapon was only average on the day.

Kenz, I believe we should all forget about this guy until he does something substantial again. He's actually been ok (for top 10 standards) the last 6 months or so. Not great. He won the Aussie open and Chenai 250, but both those courts were very fast paced. I fell for this clown too. Good luck tomorrow bud!
