Update on check status....Still have not received it. Was told it was supposed to come by midweek last week and still has not arrived. Got online to talk to a representative and after numerous attempts i finally got a hold of one. Was told that my problem was being emailed to the manager but the manager doesnt work until monday. Was told again that the problem is that my withdrawal occured when they were having processor problems. As of now, no email from manager or anyone from wsex today.

JoshW, I see that you are handling so diligently the WSEX payout issue... I just wonder why would the SBR team completely ignore my $3K issue with Skytower.

It really makes you wonder where they are getting these little dribs and drabs of money. I guess it's to their credit that they keep shipping it out when they get some. Sad, sad, sad, very sad.
These guys were stock-market-know-it-alls and probably used the float in the market and got crushed.
I finally got my check after waiting over 4 months. It hasn't bounced yet so I guess that is a good sign. I started to gain some confidence in them until I re-deposited. They put a limit on my live betting account and when I asked why they said they don't want my action. Then they froze my sell order and 2 minutes later the Saints pick off a pass and run it back for a touchdown. Cost me $300 because someone there has the power to #@$% with you if they want to. I've lost all confidence and respect for this sportsbook. They don't want my action?? Really?? I think they honestly believe I have some advanced info on the interactive games.I would be up a fortune! Whatever. I'll never trust another dime to WSEX which is sad because I've been a loyal customer for years.
I just received a working FedX tracking number for 'one $3000 check'. Once I get that check, there will be one more $3000 cheque to go. This comes one day after bringing it to the attention of SBR.
Sorry if this has already been discussed but do they do book-to-book transfers to Matchbook? If so, how long does it take?
i just got done emailing wsex. it has been a month since i asked for my last withdrawl on 9/07, thru regular mail. and i wanted to know if the check was in the mail yet.

That FEDex package I mentioned earlier arrived today. It contains a cheque for "3000.14 US FUNDS" which is $0.14 larger than I asked for. Still waiting on $3000 cheque #2.
4x rollover and last deposit is used for eligibilty of any WD requests.
Put in a moneybooker w/d a couple days ago. Now they tell me to request a check. I can only imagine how long that will take.
I have questions in to WSEX on their asking players to use alternatives to Moneybooker.
WSEX has been much quicker to make payments. Those owed multiple payments requested over time are slowly being paid, but it seems a new payment is being made almost weekly. Those owed one payout are being paid fairly quickly with some current withdrawals being delayed just a week or two.
When I say "just a week or two", I in no way want to imply this is an acceptable delay in payment. Only that it is better than in the past.
Right now I only have five case of slow pay, assuming that my most recent updates from WSEX hold true, which that have to this point.
Three are moneybookers and two are checks.
I have tried to email or PM each player as I get updates from WSEX. If you haven't heard from me in a week, and are still waiting on an update or payment, let me know via PM or email.

Yes last deposit is used for eligibility of any WD request, yet now they are telling players they can only withdraw by moneybookers up to the amount they have deposited. This is just more bs.
What method do they use to send the winnings? What is the reason for restricted Moneybookers withdraw amounts?

Listen to this bullsh**. I always use Moneybookers to deposit and withdraw. Have not deposited since August since I have been winning. They tell me because I have not deposited recently by Moneybookers, they won't pay by Moneybookers...even though Moneybookers is the only deposit method I have used in recent years. Now they'll rob me with payout fees to take down a large balance. Been with them since they opened...they really went downhill.
with every decision made they get worse, what could possibly be a valid reason for not paying someone who has only used a particular method of deposit for their withdrawls using the same method? how sad.
This is sad news, indeed. I was hoping all the issues would have been resolved as I got to this last page. I have been a member with WSEX for nearly 3 years. I used them mainly for the interactive betting, which I love. I had an issue about 5 months ago where a check i decided to send via regular mail never came. 30 business days later I called up WSEX and my check was sent within 7 days. Now, I have a check from 8/3/09 that has not been processed. So, for those who are still with wsex, do you plan on leaving? After reading this whole thread I think its definitely time to try and get money out.

they canceled all my moneybooker requests, told me i cant use that method also. they canceled my 3 moneybooker requests for 2.5k each. Told me i deposited 1k and cash-outed 2.5k already via moneybooker. I have to request checks now, unless i deposit more money via moneybooker per management.wtf? .

If only the amount deposited can be withdrawn, how did you get $2500 withdrawn on a $1000 deposit to begin with?
they just changed the rules.guess they dont want customers to use moneybooker, its not just me.
This Moneybookers switch is a big deal. My best WSEX source didn't have a response to why it was happening. I am following up with them today.
Hello all. New forum user here. I have used WSEX almost from the beginning. Must be 15 years or so, back to just after they were featured in the WSJ and I think it was Sports Illustrated. Tried a few other books over the years but always went back to WSEX.
Recently been a little concerned about the slow payouts, last one requested in mid August took about 6 weeks. It was also strange as I had requested a Courier check but instead got the payout via a **. I actually called them a week or so before receiving the tracking info on the **.
Payouts seem to have been slow thru all of 2009. I'm not a BIG player, payouts are usually in the $1000 range, although many have been higher. I have one open withdrawal request made on Sept. 28. I usually have just one payout pending at a time. But account balance is getting uncomfortably (??) high and I am a little concerned after reading all of your posts.
Hope WSEX can get their act together. I do like the theory that they might have lost what must be a huge float in the "meltdown".

They are not allowing people to circumvent the spirit of that rule. If they are trying to withdraw several thousand that they deposited via credit card or other means, they do not become moneybooker eligible by depositing $50 via moneybookers.

I dont have a problem with that rule (i.e. "allowing people to withdraw via moneybookers only if that is how they deposited") ... however, if I deposited via Neteller and that metod has been down for over a year then surely they should allow any other method (including Moneybooker and/or transfer to Matchbook) to effect payment asap... after all Neteller being down for so long is totally unacceptable ...
I must say that I really do not believe them that Neteller has been down... it is back to basics - perhapds they are not broke YET, but they are not very liquid at all.
I haven't check this thread in a couple months. I'm sorry to see the problems continue. I was optimistic a few months ago when SBR member "WSEX" came here to tell us things have turned around and the payouts would begin going more smoothly. Has he been around lately????
My only reason for posting at this time is to say THANKS to Joshw for all the help. Also, thanks to SBR for allowing him to devote what seems to be most of his working hours to dealing with this fiasco.
I don't buy their excuse. They're punishing winners with slow pay and high fees.
They deducted my first check payout from my balance. Any idea how long it takes after that?

what if you deposit 1k? does that make you eligible?seems like more excuses.we all using moneybooker because your bank draft sucks and looking for alternative.
