    SBR's NFL Live Lines is inaccurate.

    NFL #117-118 (nyj/CHI) has been off the board at most places (including Pinny and Greek) for days, yet the Live Lines has it listed at all books (including Pinny and Greek).

    That's always been a flaw with the software. When a game goes from open to OTB, it tends to just leave the last line available up.

    one big ongoing problem...the overnight lines are hit and miss....mostly miss...I wish they would post them..its nice to get greek/bookmaker openers as soon as they hang em

    The game's back up on the board, but was down for about 3 days.

    Another sbrodds question - how does one access the Lines archive?
    (I wish there was some basic info up there explaining this).

    Under "Settings" on the top left, there is a "Show Games" with a dropdown that goes back as far as "This Month".
    But it doesn't work, at least for NFL.
    And what if I want to look at archived lines farther back than one month?

    Also - whose opening line are they using?

    How about some help from a mod?

    I believe that there is a mod reading every post.

    If there's a question about the website, why is there no help from an employee - other than total laziness?
    Why would a mod ignore the post, hoping a poster will answer, and thus do their job for them?
    If the mod reading this doesn't know the answers to my questions, how about putting in a little effort and finding out, or referring it to an employee who is knowledgeable?

    The website is doing all sorts of things to encourage and retain posters - how about responding to posts?

    Would appreciate answers to my questions above.

    There's an important distinction between a question not specifically related to sbr.com, and a question directly related to usage of the website which employs them.

    E.g., "What bonuses is the XYZ sportsbook offering?"
    I wouldn't expect them to necessarily answer this.

    I WOULD expect them to answer this.
    This is something to which they have direct access to the answer, or they have direct access to colleagues/owners who have the answer.
    This is also something which the average poster is not expected to have the answer to, unless they've seen the answer posted previously by an employee.

    I.e., nowhere on SBR Live Odds do I see mention of which sportsbook is being used for the "Opening Line".
    Posters do not have this info (unless they've seen an employee post the answer previously, and even then the info could be outdated).
    Mods do have this info, and if they don't, they have direct access to those who do have the info.

No, it is not part of his job specification he installs stereos and has nothing to do with the order you placed online.

    You can choose what opening lines are posted for each sport using the settings. Not sure about the archives. I'm not a mod so don't get mad at me for not knowing, just trying to help out.

    I would classify this as you being a prick first in this thread

    SBR ODDS is a free service provided to you by SBR that you should be grateful for, pitching a hissy fit because you are not getting immediate customer service on the free service they offer you is uncalled for especially when you are crying to the wrong audience.

    Moderators moderate the forum they move threads where they belong and hand out infractions to abusive posters.

    Techs are the ones who can answer your questions on how the software functions.

    Hi Scooter,

    Lots of good questions here, let see if i can clear a few things up. Or at least confirm what other posters have said.

    1. Games with lines which are taken OTB by the sportsbooks will usually still show up on SBROdds. There's not a really easy way for us to detect this automatically and so sometimes we don't catch it right away. Though if we do see that we're showing a game that is OTB we take down the lines for the games.

    2. "How does one access the Lines archive?" Right now the best way of reviewing archived lines is by going to SBRForum.com. Here is a link for the lines history for NFL. You can choose the date and sometimes go back a few years depending on the sport. http://www.sportsbookreview.com/nfl-football/odds-scores/

    3. Which book is used for opening lines? The default book is bookmaker, however if you login you can configure SBROdds to show whichever book you prefer as the default book for opening lines.

    4. No sorry, there's no ignore button for the forum that I am aware of.

    Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding SBROdds, i'll be more than willing to try and answer your questions.

    Also the quickest way to get a hold of us is using the Live Help link at top of most of our sites. This doesn't directly go to the tech's but usually if the CS person assigned to your question cannot assist you they will ask us for help and should have an answer for you very quickly. There's nothing wrong with using the forum, but because of the sheer volume of posts sometimes posts like this don't get noticed right away.

    WNBA is also available.



    AND Soccer + tennis as well, but there are no line histories, just boxscores with opening / closing lines.
    Yes, but off the top of my head I don't know how far back we have archives. I would say most of them should be at least 2 years if not more.
