Free Play Bonus - Interesting Call Today

So I get a lot of calls from books and on occasion I will entertain their calls. Today a guy from Sportsbetting ag called me offering me a bonus. I told him if it's not 100% cash with 10x roll or less, I am not interested. He proceeds to tell me that it's a free play but it's 100% and if I play with my cash and win and never use the bonus I can just cash out my $$ with no roll over and then we just cancel the FP.

I have never heard of doing this and can imagine that books might frown on this particular strategy but maybe I am wrong. Am I crazy or does everyone play their FP's like this? I told him to send me an email and he wouldn't. He was really trying to get a deposit and this seemed a little off. What say you?

Sounds like bullshit to me. You would most likely find that out the second you asked for a withdrawal. I am guessing you would have someone from management say "sorry sir, but CS doesn't have the authority to make those kinds of offers."

Never heard of a book doing that. Sounds like he just wanted you to deposit to make his quota and deal with the BS later when you call in.

I was like bro I have been in this game for a long time and I have never heard of doing that. I know Betpop/FF books offer bonuses where you can cash profits out but never heard of just free rolling books on bonuses like that. He's like oh yeah this is the best strategy for bonuses. He wouldn't put anything in writing though so I was not going to just deposit and hope for the best. I'll check in with CS tomorrow and see if someone will put it in writing.

As soon as your deposit comes in your account and you claim free play bonus at SB, they will track the rollover. They have the graph and I never seen that disappear if you don’t use the fp. Never heard of that and definitely wouldn’t trust SB.

Hey Jake. So If I understand your post correctly he was basically offering you a bonus only the condition you make a deposit, right? or was it just a straight up free play with no strings attached? (which I've never heard of a book doing). In either case, he should have told you what the rollover rate was if you decided to accept his offer with the "bonus" money. But the fact that he didn't tell you or even send you an email verification link to confirm that "bonus" offer is real shady shit.

I might be wrong but I took it as they would give him the bonus of free play but if he doesn’t use the fp which will be credited into his account, then the rollover won’t apply. And some how fp will magically disappear from his account along with the rollover requirement.

Couple years ago, their sister site, BOL, tried to tell me that rollover stays with you even if you zero out (lose all of your funds). And the rollover will apply to the next deposit along with additional rollover requirement, if you took bonus.

I zeroed out a few times and on my last deposit I completed the r/o and requested payout. But nope as 3-4 past rollovers hadn’t been met. It was the most frustrating argument I recently had with a book. It was so stupid. CS refused to let me talk to management but next day they called me and allowed me to get payout. They never said yes or no that rollover would not apply if you zero out. (There’s an old thread about.)

He tried to trick you. He is basically offering you a regular deposit with no bonus. I'm glad people don't fall this scam.

I know for a fact Youwager books would do this. I also know for a fact Betonline Books never did this.

If you bet without the FP at Youwager you could forfeit the bonus. It be dumd to do that at Youwager because they also allowed you to cash out before Rollovers were met as long as you kept the initial deposit in the acct. That was the only true thing YW was good at.

Ask in chat get it in writing then take your shot if they allow it.

Report here if its true cuz Ill take a shot at that also.

They may be doing this to compete with the free bets the legal places give you if you lose your first bet?

Thing is the second you use the FP the rollover kicks in also. All books should do this if u ask me. Instead of locking you in to a Roll Over but offshore is just as greedy as The new USA books. Someone Off Shore best come up with something quick other than 20x rollovers..

Thanks for the responses guys. Haven't had a minute to chat with SB yet, but will report back if I do. Just to clarify here's what he claimed I should do

    Deposit 500
Take 100% FP bonus with the 10x Roll
Use my real funds to bet a few games or go all in on one
If I won or got on a hot streak, request that the bonus be forfeited and then cash out
If I lost I could use the FP as insurance and be stuck with the rollover

Again, this sounded like complete bullshit so I did not deposit. The sales guy's name is Kiefer if anyone wants to hit him up

How is that a scam?? You bet your reg money and don't tap the free play unless you go broke? Once you go broke the RO and everything comes in. I'd much rather do a fp bonus this way!! Especially if you can't parlay or bet more than a -130 fav at BOL

It's a scam because if you lost your $500 cash first then you have to hit your free play at -130 to get $385 back and then have to rollover the $385 to $10,000 action which means you have to go 13-13 on your next 26 bets assuming you win one and lose one just to get 1/2 of you original bet back and then win your next two just to make a profit and cash out. That's about 30 bets you have to make to cash out.

Or you don't take the bogus bonus and hit you first $500 bet and cash $455 the same day.

Not sure what y’all been smoking but this is 100% real IMO.

I have an account manager at BETUS and he has done this for me. The terms are different but premise is the same.

my account manager offers 100% free play to be claimed within 48 hours.

what you can do is wager the deposit and if you lose then you can claim the bonus. If you win you can withdrawl and redeposit or take it to another site. Basically a win win.

it might sound bogus but it’s not; just try it and see how it can be used as a tool

This is basically the “no sweat bet” that stateside books do. The people saying it sounds like bullshit probably only play offshore and can’t free their mind accordingly. The difference is stateside books don’t give you your bonus upfront, only if you lose that first bet, then you get the freeplay in the amount of the lost bet. And it makes sense to me that an offshore would do something like this because they have to make it stupid and more complex than it needs to be.
