Does this happen at all the sportsbooks with their Bonus points or whatever they are

Buddy bet that thousand promo at Fanduel. Of course he lost but had to fight for the thousand back. He finally gets it back and bets 200 on it to get a return of 360 something. Now they wont let him bet anything but the 800 left (one bet)and now it has a very short shelf life. So he bets it all because he couldn't breal it up and he pushes. Of course they take it and say that is their rules. So those books win pushes?

You can break up free bets on Fanduel.
And yeah, it's a free bet, you don't get the stake back, so a push is like a loss. Don't bet it on something that can push. Your buddy doesn't seem like the brightest bulb.

Lol jibby I have one book and that is it. Been with my guy prolly 25 years that is why he gives me 105 juice. Now if i did what my buddy did, i agree the same thing would have happen to me because on what planet does a push lose and that is what it did, was lose. I guess when you join shady shit like this you have to read those rules like you are dealing with a crook. To think everyone knows that they will take your money from a push is comical an D2 says don’’t bet a game that will push is even funnier. Like everyone in the world knows this. I bet this happen to D2 and that is why he is an expert on something flat out shady like this. On another not those promos have tempted me but they don’t now. I wonder what other shady shit is in those rules. Can we still say shit here?

Imagine having 22000 posts on a gambling forum and not knowing how a simple Fanduel free play promo works.

It's a very common rule Thor.

Freeplay push = loss at most books. The logic is that the stake is never returned and a push is a valid bet outcome.

It is understandable that you would assume it's a refund if you have only played with the one local for 25 years. But everyone who makes that assumption learns at some point. And plenty have your reaction. It is logically the correct grading though.

The difference between a "free play" bonus and a cash bonus is the free play bonuses do not return your stake. So you can get a better approximate value of the actual bonus for free plays by halving the amount, though that's not perfectly accurate.

That's why you'll see on here or elsewhere when people are talking about bonuses, the sharp guys always prefer cash bonuses, because it's cash direct into your balance and the stake returns as well. You'll also note, esp. offshore, cash bonuses often have a higher rollover requirement for this reason. That's the great thing about stateside; those first bonuses are usually 1x rollover because they want to induce you to bet down the road.

Push on free play is very common. Just gotta read the terms for these things. Most often no need to be in a hurry. They'll want your money tomorrow just as today, so know what you're getting into.

Thor is a political guru for the Biden Administration. Those posts definitely didn't come by way of sports knowledge.

More do FP than Cash. GTbets does Cash . I get offers from time to time for 100% Cash. Around Xmas a couple years back they did 150% Cash. SBG i think is cash but the highest there is 25%. But like GT from time to time i have seen 50% to 100% but normally the 100% is limited to like $300. But rollovers actually not that bad for these.Heritage once in a blue moon will do 50% cash . I think they did 100% once at . Wagerweb has 30% cash pretty much all the time.

Free play bonus vs Cash bonus. They deliberately name then differently for a reason. A cash bonus gets added in with your deposit and at that point you can’t differentiate between them so any bets will be treated as such. Free play bonuses are separated from cash and have different rules depending on the book. Almost all free play wagers only give you the winnings without the risk amount. Some books will only allow straight bets from free play money but I have seen books which allow parlays as well. Regardless, only the winnings will be credited, not the risk amount.

Also check the rules of the book with regards to the free play bonus rules when determining your rollover or required play through. If the winnings of the free play bonus exceed the initial free play bonus amount, then the rollover calculation is calculated on the higher number.
