Indeed, Lord's been checking this thread since the early days. I have it on good authority that he's sent at least one email asking about the identity of a person behind an SBR account.

    Too right, mate.

It's impossible for us to measure the exact impact we would have, but if we can succeed in warning a hypothetical $100,000 or $200,000 worth of business customers, investors, partners etc about him, I consider that a success, in addition to searching for our own money and accountability on that.

I need to go, pal. I want to share about the voicemail John left as well, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. I want to make sure all can see this info. I'm sure you can appreciate this, mojo. Better to answer all who may look or ask.

I reckon it's safe to say that in the coming weeks, with the new website, plus all the blog content... Peter's online reputation will take a pounding. Anyone who goes into business with him without first doing their due diligence and checking his online credibility, has nobody to blame but themselves.

Thanks, one thing, though, a big public thanks to John. I know he's AWOL this week (lazy bastard!) but he really pushed the lid on this. I said he couldn't expect to restart this thing, but he has.

And thanks to a nerdy web developer with dreadlocks John's university mate He has finally proven useful after years of screwing me over with drink rounds when we all met up.

Also, HUGE THANKS to everyone who has emailed the politicians and others, and started the blogs. Please keep doing what you're doing!

    Hey everyone.

The second website is up and running: three w's, "Peter Lord of Wollongong" no spaces and then the dot com (obviously without the " "!). We cannot post actual links here, but I am sure you can work it out from the context!

The first one, to recap, is: three w's, "Peter Lord of Canbet" no spaces and then the dot com (obviously without the " "!).

We don't want to overburden people on these sites and so John has not included every piece of information we have. It's an excellent synopsis, though, and the website traffic will be decent given the recent launch.

We thank everyone for their recent contributions but remind you all that we need to continue this! You don't build muscle by attending the gym ONCE.

Yo Tommy. The site's looking very noice indeed.

So you were going to let us in on the content of John's voicemail. I'm intrigued. Will check back online after dinner.

    Hey mojo,

I won't have much time now, but if you have specific questions I can answer them tomorrow.

Main points from voicemail: John made it clear to Lord that action would be taken by a wider group, as he had indicated in the actual call. The website was given again, too. He also stipulated, this time obviously without Lord's fractious interruptions, that Lord's penchant for claiming threats, stalking and intimidation would not be tolerated by us. We keep records of our calls and the volume of them and know exactly what constitutes a threat and what does not. Such childish games, falsely alleging wrongdoing every time someone asks a question about lost money, have been repeated by him ad nauseam.

We are only interested, as John relayed in the voicemail, in legal justice for Canbet customers and a much, much wider dissemination of information which disprove Lord's lies and omissions regarding his business pedigree. Peter Lord is a compulsive deceiver when it comes to giving potential clients his full history. There's a difference between a positive resumé and omitting details to the point of fabricating your overall history.

Multimillion-dollar business failures of the companies you direct and/or own ARE relevant to giving someone a better appreciation for whether they should do business with you or take your advice for substantial fees.

John reiterated that the oral discussion Lord kept asking for via telephone is a farce and we expect written communication and an explanation of our questions. He is free to ignore that request and expectation, but we will in that case continue scouting for more answers and accountability ourselves.

Lawyer threats like from McDonald also do not concern us.

I'm out for tonight. A belated Happy Easter to everyone here on the forum. I will endeavour to answer any subsequent follow-up questions from mojo or anyone else by Wednesday or Thursday.

May the coming days and weeks shine further light onto our cause.

Thanks for the info Tommy. I probably won't be able to check on developments over the next few days, since I'll be away.... but when I'm back I'll be sure to continue the fight to have both Lord and White (let's not forget him!!) held accountable.

So I'm away for a week and still nobody else has posted a message to Tommy or John. Come on guys, what's the story? Ensuring new content is posted in here keeps up the momentum and the pressure on Peter & Graeme. It takes you 60 seconds a few times each week. But if you can't do that, then don't expect the likes of me, or John, or Tommy... to carry you any further.

Hi Mojobullfrog ,sorry that i have not posted on here lately but was under the impression that we were keeping in touch with headquarters [tommy, john ] through email as we did at one time suspect that peter lord and graham white were using this forum to infiltrate our ideas and actions. A nice group as you will be aware are busy with the the direction that tommy has pointed us .,and i believe that he has done a wonderful job of co-ordinating our efforts in a combined action to try and achieve some result. Yes it does not take long to post on here and if you believe that some positive outcome can be sought by posting on this forum then i am sure that others will continue to write something , but all must be aware that our actions as a group should be kept away from places where the "enemy "can access freely

I'm busy again this week but want to touch base to share some things.

One politician we contacted as a group has already tried to get a Freedom of Information request organised. It was denied. Others I called are taking an interest, too.

No magic will get our money back but if we keep digging, we will find what we need!!

If you want to be part of any legal action we take at the end of the year, private message tommy.robredo

In other matters, I echo mojo's thoughts. Tommy and I have busted ourselves to organise and fuse the group for action. Some are being extremely lazy but previously complained about their money being gone.

We hired a very talented web designer, at our own cost. Yes, he was a friend of mine but the hours he put in required me to compensate him (although at a discount rate), especially as he delayed other paid work to do both websites at short notice.

lcasey, you are a valued and regular contributor. We appreciate your caution, too. Post here once every week or so, please, so the forum thread is perceived as active by "newbies". You are one of our star helpers. We thank you for it.

    I called Peter Lord today.

We had someone who was apparently threatened via email. I told Lord if it was him or anyone he knew, they needed to desist.

We will not tolerate vague but serious threats to our group members, nor will we sanction or condone them towards others.

That's just a standard "Parked Domain" page. The canbet.com domain is still owned by the same people - Graeme White is listed as the point of contact, and IGAS is still the listed company. These details often don't get updated. I suggest they're just keeping ownership of the domain name rather than relinquishing it and someone else grabbing it. For $10/yr it's worth it. Don't expect a new website in the coming 12 months.

I'd advise that he change the site to H1 and H2 tag some headings for better SEO, and any of a number of methods to obfuscate the emails rather than use old school/should be deprecated mailto links

So on a positive note, thanks to the hard work of John and Tommy (and a few others who shall remain nameless), one local councillor from Peter Lord's home town of Wollongong has taken a keen interest in getting to the bottom of things. Peter should be feeling very nervous. Watch this space...

    Hi all,

Just thought I'd check in. mojobullfrog pointed out the thread had gone a bit quiet a few days ago. Part of me quite liked that fact - judging by John's and Tommy's emails it seems everyone already involved is working very hard in the background so it's understandable why they aren't posting much here right now. If I were Peter Lord or Graeme White, the sudden lack of activity in this thread would suggest to me that words have been replaced by actions.

But then a larger part of me agrees with mojo that this thread needs to have regular activity. Like John says, any newbies will be able to see progress being made and might feel inclined to join us if the thread is "active". For anyone still watching this thread but unsure whether to participate you still have time (not much, but some) to get involved. It doesn't involve doing anything scary or difficult, I can attest to that. So much of the work has already been done for you thanks to John, Tommy et al. All you need to do is follow simple instructions in a timely manner.

A big thanks to everyone in the group and have a great weekend!

What I don't understand is how Peter Lord could say they were processing withdrawals "round the clock manually" if there was no money to pay. Surely if there was no money, they would realise that the moment they tried to process any single withdrawal manually....... And I'm yet to speak to anyone who was paid during this manual processing time.

Going to put a few emails on to see if we all received them and hopefully they may be of use. Got all the originals.

22/12/13...Shortened version....Please be advised that your withdrawal request will be processed and paid over the next week. "identify every customer and each of their bets and then assess if the customer qualified for their bonus or not" "everyone who has made a withdrawal request was eligible to withdraw their money and paid the correct amount" "once our customer service and finance department were satisfied that the customer was eligible or not to withdraw their funds, they have either been paid or notified as to why they were not eligible" "Over the next week, our customer clearance procedures will once again be automated which will result in customers being paid in an expedient manner" So by 5th or 6th January I should have got my money????

31/12/13…Shortened version……"Canbet will temporarily cease taking any further bets or deposits, effective from 31 December 2013. Please note that any unsettled bets will be honoured once the result is known" "this has lead to management taking this decision to temporarily cease trading until we can integrate a final technical solution" "informed the UK Gambling Commission and we have assured them that ALL customer payments will continue to be paid as previously notified" "As part of our current software upgrade, the company are launching a new state of the art sportsbook and a mobile betting platform in the coming weeks" "we are working around the clock to resolve" Oh! what a surprise?

12/02/14….Shortened version….Because Peter Lord Canbet likes to ramble.
"Dear Canbet Clients, This issue has been fully investigated and the outcome that resulted left a discrepancy between what management "believed" were the client balances and what the actual balances were" "cash deficit within Canbet Sports Bookmakers UK Ltd." "This has occurred through the issuing of the cash bonuses which far outweighed the sum of cash deposits, therefore creating a “bubble effect” within our customer balances"Now correct me if I'm wrong but the offer was deposit £500 to get a £500 bonus so how can the cash bonuses outweigh the cash deposits??
"Once discovered, the preference of the Directors of the company was to work with the shareholders to increase the capital within the company that would alleviate the problem and pay out the existing claims. The directors initially hoped that the parent company would reach agreement amongst the shareholders for this to occur, but unfortunately agreement could not be reached with the majority shareholder. We acknowledge that we had made previous statements that were made on the belief that these funds would be forthcoming and apologise for the inconveniences that this has caused. Such statements were made in good faith"So all of the statements made from Sept/Oct 2013 were made on the belief that the parent company would give Peter Lord Canbet more funds. Yet according to Peter Lord Canbet they only discovered the cause of the "alleged" problem in an email dated 12/02/14 yet the extra funds belief was in their minds from early November 2013??
