I filed a complaint on here about a month ago. I have been following this thread for a while, just never felt the need to post. Go look at the past complaints, I filed it here about a month ago. I was waiting since july 11th for 1600. I have reported my payment here twice through emails, but they havent posted it on here.

First, it's not part of their modus operandi.

Second, what's the point ? There are more than enough people letting us know that their cheques are bouncing, so having one or two fake posters come in to let us know that their cheques are clearing won't do anything to improve their image.

Actually if that is case it might be good news as (in this case) the problems are actually on the processor end... Obviously not defending WSEX in anyway just saying if I had funds there I would rather see signs of processing problems rather then no checks being sent out by WSEX...

No one is questioning the fact that WSEX sent out a batch of cheques.

Beyond the fact that these cheques bouncing sort of "kills the momentum", the other larger problem is that WSEX might never be able to get these funds back from the processor. If WSEX has already sent the funds to this particular processor to fund the cheques that were recently issued, then if the processor ran off with the funds, or if somehow the U.S government caused the processor's account to be closed and funds in the account to be seized, WSEX may never see that money again.

wsex player submits withdrawal complaint
A wsex (SBR rating D) player reports a withdrawal complaint. The player asked for a $1600 withdrawal on July 11th. His payout has yet to be processed by wsex. wsex is currently slow-paying just over $250,000 to the 56 players have written SBR with sportsbook disputes.


I have now replied 3 times to let them know I have been paid, but it doesnt look like they have updated yet. Someone about 10 posts ago asked if anyone has recently gotten paid by wsex, I felt that it wouldnt be a bad time to chime in for the first time here. So no, I am not a shill for WSEX, I have been using them since 1998, and wont use them again. (although I was offered a great 30% deposit bonus recently if I canceled my withdrawal) Anyway, good luck to who ever is waiting on checks still. I got my money, I am done with that site, and apparently people think I am spamming here, so I guess I should be done posting here.

First of all, no one, and I mean no one, signs up on a messageboard solely in order to post that they got paid a grand or two owed to them by an off shore sportsbook - whether it's on time or late.

And yet this happens here often enough - and only in threads involving shaky books.

However, also true is that it's not part of WSEX's m.o.

But these posts would be consistent with that of an affiliate marketer's m.o. in order to buff up the company name. No doubt.

My full disclosure: I technically am still a WSEX customer and have always gotten paid reasonably and without complaint.

My latest go around with WSEX left me with nothing to withdraw - but in following them I've been too spooked to reload.

Kind of bums me out because I have been satisfied customer for years, but won't return unless I'm satisfied they're trustworthy.

WSEX simply looks like a disaster. It's been going on for what, a year and a half? I don't know how they recover or even if they can recover their name.

Two WSEX (SBR rating D) players confirm receiving withdrawals. Player 1 received $2500 via Neteller; player 2 received two $3,000 checks from mid-April payout requests. A WSEX manager provided the following update to SBR on player payouts:

WSEX: Step one is to get all players owed less than $3,000 paid immediately, and everyone higher on your list at least one $3,000 check right away. Then pay the balances down $3,000 at a time as processors allow.

WSEX is currently slow-paying $231,550 to 52 players. WSEX has paid 6 owed players on SBR's slow-pay list $17,300 in September.




I suspected they were dickin us players with bigger balances around. How else can you explain people receiving checks from april may and june before us guys waiting since March or longer? Totally unacceptable IMO!

I think once again its more horrible management from them. It should be the other way around!

That way the total debt would go down faster and you please the people with more money sooner who could "possibly" come back to playing there if eventually satisfied and feeling trustworthy of them.

The regular installment payments to the big players is a sign of good faith and will give them confidence that they will eventually get paid. Most importantly, the complaints will cease and WSEX can start to rebuild their reputation again. So I think the plan as stated is fine... now they need to execute it.

I am still waiting on neteller request made in june. They dont reply to any of my emails and every live chat goes to unavailable! Its a great shame that josh isnt here anymore - he was getting many of us payed. Please wsex, sort this out.

Technically I think they should just honor the withdrawal requests in order they have been requested!

I dont care who is owed what! If you want to talk about player confidence then the poor guy that is still owed from last October which is now a whole year should be paid before anyone! That way they start eliminating freakin WAIT TIME and dollar amounts! Which would help more with everyones overall player confidence IMO.

Think about it. Their total debt could be anything right now and theres nothing we could do about it. The issue is wait time. SBR is reporting just us players right now in the neighborhood of 230k but we have guys going on a whole year of wait time.

I'd rather see a million dollar debt and slowly see months being caught up one by one because where do you draw the line? At this rate we could possibly see guys making withdrawal requests this month that are going to get paid before people that are owed more money than them and waiting since April.

Not to mention these guys need big fish depositing there right now and in the future if they want to stay alive and by leaving these ridiculous wait times out there and paying off these $400 players I dont see that helping in the whole scheme of things.

My whole point is I dont care if they only owe you $400 that you requested in June, you should not receive it before us that have been waiting since the beginning of the year. BOTTOM LINE!

So if someone requested payout last week , they will be paid before those with multiple pending withdrawals. On this basis could take years for those with multiple payout requests to ever get paid....WTF ?

just called them( my weekly call or email since april for my feb withdrawl) -- was told i should have a tracking number by friday. a lot of checks going out next week and will have tracking numbers for them by the end of the week. was told mine on the list. also was told some of the checks from 1 processor bounced - will get that straight out asap. sure would like to see a check from these people. i have 2 coming. i am thinking about taking advantage of the 30% bonus and cancelling 2nd withdrawl after 1st one clears. seems crazy to trust them already but i want them to get to where they once were and like playing there. just also need to think i will get paid. was able to lose most of my balance in the last month and have very little left to use for their live betting lines. i have to admit how much i miss playing there all the time. i would like to get back to not caring if i win big there. because i think i will get paid. long ways off but like i said i am thinking about cancelling my 2nd withdrawl. seems nuts, but i am leaning that way. hope everyone gets paid quickly. p.s. they also said it was not their fault, it was the processors decision on whio gets paid 1st and who waits. i also think it should have been who asked for withdrawls 1st should have been paid 1st. not at all about how much or how many withdrawls you have coming.

Hey all, joined specifically for this thread. Been playing wpx for about 3 years. Was in the first batch of checks from last week that bounced (May withdrawal). I got the forms from the bank sent off to them and talked to them on Monday where they told me I should "get it at the end of the week". Called again today and they said they're waiting on the processor info (like always) but assure me it "won't take another four months", but "can't give me a specific timeline".

emailed WSEX to ask what my tracking number, that i was told i would have today, is. that i had not received their email. this is their reply - looks more like the responses i have been getting since april. with the exception of the last 2, that actually promised a check being processed. that was 2 weeks ago.

Uh. I woudn't jump to such conclusions. I have 3 post office personal checks from a person in Texas. I've never seen this before. Also, there was a note inside my fedex envelope. Judy was very helpful in resolving my balances from 18 months ago. I'm still waiting for 3 checks from March as well. I was hoping the WSEX email from a couple of weeks ago right after the sale of Matchbook would be the sign that they were back to operating as a reliable book. Fingers still crossed...all that's available at this point.
