    LED vs. plasma vs. DLP vs ?

    im looking to get a new set next year. whats the pros and cons of each? i know LEDs are getting cheaper by the hour but plasma is still popular. and DLP is a dying technology.

    plasma is a little better for watching sports imo

    plasma prob has the best quality out of all of them and espcially for sports, though good plasmas cost a lot

    les lcd are my favorite due to efficiency (size+quality for the price) there are some very nice ones that are affordable to most consumers

    dlp is for sheer size. i have a 72 or 73 inch and it only cost 1200 or something. if you just want the biggest, dlp is the way to go, but the quality imo is not as good as plasma or higher end lcd
