105 students AND staff over 3 decades with tumors malignant or BENIGN.

    So what's the total population of students in 30 years? 5,000? 10,000? 50,000? 100,000?

    Typical stupid news story.

Pretty poor news article. How about some Statistical Analysis (instead of people chirping)?

The raw statistics and time horizon were not laid out too well. And the Mayor should do some research 1st.

The tumor is like 1 in 100,000 rare. So for 105 people out of maybe 50,000 students/faculty over the years. It's something wrong. Plus- who knows about the ones undetected.

I remember in middle school we missed like 6 months of school and then went to school in the summer at a surrounding town. They basically demolished our school to get the asbestos out of it. But that meant we spent years at this school with asbestos in the walls.

Glioblastoma is more like 3.2 per 100,000, if that's what it is. I did not watch the video as Chucky said it was questionable.

I will trust him on that.

Could be a cluster there for sure. Fuk. Is the CDC involved?

Don't worry Crusherrr, the you're safe as long as the asbestos in the walls wasn't disturbed and got airborne into the classrooms.

Much better write up here. Something is definitely going on. Possible link to a nearby uranium processing plant used for the Manhattan Project that just happen to be shutdown in '67, the same year the school was built.

The school is basically right on the former Manhattan Project nuclear test site. Seepage of nuclear waste happening. Lawsuits coming!
