    Who’s your cell phone carrier?

I’ve been with Sprint the past eight years, but they just hiked my rates for 2021 which doesn’t thrill me.

    I’m ready for a switch.
I’m thinking AT&T one line unlimited everything 60 bucks and change a month plan on a switch over deal they’re promoting.

I don’t like Verizon’s prices but the people I know are happy with the coverage so I guess you can file that under you get what you pay for.

The discount wireless like Cricket I’m skeptical about but it’s time to dump Sprnt.

Don't blame you for switching. Sprint is now T Mobile for new customers I think. Verizon has always worked well for me.

You should check out one of the MVNO's

I was super skeptical but tried out Mint Mobile on an unlocked phone I had. I was with Verizon for YEARS paying over 200$/mo for the family. I haven't regretted the decision to switch once. I now have a total phone bill for the year of less than 1k. Plenty of data, phone coverage is on the Tmoible network and you would never know the difference.
There are other MVNO's that operate on the big networks so if you need a sim that works with a CDMA only phone, just use one of those. I always check out the CNET Cheapskate Blog for current deals if there are any.

You're usually, almost always, grandfathered into whatever plan you had.

So something must have changed on your end

That’s pretty much the consensus from the people who get paid to review these things.
And I do love the promotional deal they are offering.

Regarding Sprint I think the merger effected some plans.
Even without the merger I was probably going to dump them anyway.

T Mobile may work for your area, but in this area of Virginia, I've met 2 people that hated T Mobile when they left Verizon.

You definitely need to be near a major city and major highways. I can't guarantee being on dirt roads and away from major highways. I know a friend of mine who lives in West Virginia... and it doesn't work well over there. But... they live on country roads.

Before I switched... I asked the Metro associate if I don't like the service... can I switch and get a refund? He said 100% refund within 10 days. My backup plan was AT&T. I never had to go to the backup plan. Luckily.

Verizon works great for me. Veterans discount makes it cheaper than any other carrier. Unlimited everything costs me $120 total (after taxes) a month for 4 lines.

I was with Sprint for 15 years which was 14 years too long. Worst customer service ever! Horrible signals in remote areas.

AT&T has a great deal. I just switched to them from T-Mobile.

$25/month for 8gb (that rolls over), unlimited talk and text.

If you want the best coverage, go with Verizon.

Also, remember that if you are coming from Sprint, if you go to AT&T you will need a different phone because AT&T requires phones that have sim cards (GSM carriers). But Verizon doesn't use sim cards, just like how Sprint doesn't (CMDA carriers), so if you choose Verizon you won't need a new phone.

Anything is going to be better than Sprint. I was thinking about Cricket myself. I found a link where you type your zip code in and it gives you the nationwide coverage for the top 3 carriers. Verizon was No 1 with 93%, AT&T was 2 at 90%, T mobile was so in the 80's ...Can't recall the number.
