Phil Ivey wins event #37 for his 8th bracelet

$3000 HORSE event for $329,840. Phil Hellmuth is starting to get nervous.

Well at least I had Bill Chen and Phil Ivey in my A group on FTP Fantasy pool for this. Should probably pay more attention to that as I've missed about 10 freerolls. There goes my 1$ worth of equity down the drain. Fukk my life.

Phil Hellmuth better call Lloyd's and mitigate some of that risk with a policy.

yo ivey said that he can win 30 bracelets in his life time. and i believe him. he said if he stays focused and healthy enough that he can get to 30. on wsop.com they did the math behind this and they based it off of how long the average 33 yr old male lives and if he lives till the average he'll have to win 1 bracelet every 1.5 years. dude is crazy good. as for his bracelet prop bets, all he said after the win was that "it was over twenty dollars" hahaha

the best part about high stakes is the prop betting that goes on. they talk about some of the most ridiculous bets ever. i think my favorite one was the vegetarian for a year or the quail a day. both good.

He has a 5 million dollar bet with Lederer and some others that he can't win 2 bracelets in 3 years... Already one down...
