Cougar I need a beer recommendation

Can you give me 5 beers to try. Sick of drinking the same old beers. No dark colored beers. Dont like em. Only light colored. Also has anyone tried the mini kegs you can get. I think they make Heineken and Miller. How does the beer taste. Is it good out of the mini keg.

Lost Bankroll, the beers I review are generally 7-9 dollars (per beer).

    Landshark is piss.

Okay Bronx Bombers, here we go...

    1. Hacker-Pschorr Weisse

This is a great choice if you like Blue Moon, which is a cloudy summery beer with big citrus taste. The Hacker is a much heavier body and has great aroma. It's brewed with 60 percent yeast and 40 percent barley. This is for a real beer drinker. Some shit you would have had back in the 16th century.

I see dodger posted the Franziskaner Hefeweizen, that is a GREAT choice. Very similar to the Hacker, but a little lighter, and a better session beer, not quite as heavy.

    2. Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat

Here is another wheat beer but this one is a little different, it's a bit more carbonated, and a good beer for most any occasion...though I don't drink these beers in the fall or winter it may satisfy those like yourself that prefer beers that are not "dark" in color. Strong wheat flavor. Citrus dominates. Oh, and it's good enough for the president.

Bronx, the Hacker is German, but it should be all over. Don't know about the 312. That is out of Chicago, but pretty popular. Check the liquor store.

    3. Hoegaarden

The role model of all Belgian wheat beers, Hoegaarden – named after a small town east of Leuven – is light and extremely refreshing, despite its cloudy appearance. It is brewed from equal parts of wheat and malted barley and is the ideal drink for a hot summer's day. Seriously, you could drink 10 of these. And, I have.

    Franziskaner Hefe-weisse
    Sierra Nevada Kellerweis Hefeweizen

Trust me on this. These are the beers I introduce to everyone looking to break out of the usual Bud/Miller/Coors. I got them all addicted. Easy to drink, TASTY, and no bitterness.

Make sure to drink in a pint glass. Lots of people don't know it, but for the better quality beers, you absolutely NEED to pour it into a glass to release all the flavors and aroma.

I don't know why some people are recommending IPAs. You really don't want to start your craft beer journey with an IPA because they are too hoppy/bitter. IPAs become more tolerable and enjoyable after your palette grows from trying out and getting a feel for craft beer. Instead you should try a good wheat beer (hefeweizens) and just enjoy the flavors. Don't drink Bud Light Golden Wheat.

Cougar's Hoegaarden suggestion is also good, but my picks will blow your mind (and tongue) away.

One that's good with limes is Takate
    Corona obv
    Guiness obv
Beach Bum Blonde Ale is surprisingly good
Coug has a lot of great obscure ones and he uses them to chase bottles of Kettel one and to try to get Rodney to act up and to wake up with wine bottles in his bed and wine bottles in his trash that he doesn't remember
