Don't sleep on how good Larry Bird was.

I'm watching Jokic play in Denver and they play the same type of heady game but Larry Bird was better..

Must watch video to remembering Larry Legend. Funny as hell.

Anyone who sleeps on the greatness of Larry Bird is probably in a coma.

He was from another planet good both 1 on 1 and as a team player.

His passing helped make others become all stars and great as well .

As good a team player as the game saw IMO.

Lately he's been in an Allstate insurance commercial with Mayhem.

Don't sleep with Larry Bird either, unless you're former SBR poster Goduke, who really likes schlongs.

It's funny because I know Gopuke is reading this right now and fighting the urge to betray his lurker status and reply.

I was fortunate enough to see Bird in his prime play a few times at Boston Garden. I don't think I appreciated then just how great a player this man was.

Him on the east coast & Magic on the west coast really took the NBA to new heights.

Plus I reside 1.5 miles from the garden so I’m partial to him.

Larry Legend wasn't a very hansom man but he could sure hoop with the best of em. He certainly got hit with the ugly stick at birth. That's all I have to say about that.

My daughter dated a main security guard (player protection/locker room) in 86-88. I have a Bird signed ball and 2 Jerseys from Pierce and the entire 2008 team. Issue is they were all signed personal to my wife and I, so??

    One of the greats!!

Showtime Lakers were huge. Yes and Magic was a big part of that revival along with Larry Legend. Great rivalry back in the day between the Celtics and Lakers. Larry and Magic. Worthy and Mahale. Kareem and Parish. The match ups were great. NBA was jumping back then and I remember as a very young man and Lakers fan watching.

    I couldn't stand the Celtics.
